I've traveled a great deal throughout my life and find that while I'm still passionate about seeing the world and the way others live, I want to settle down and find a partner to share all that life has to offer... are you willing to run the gauntlet with me?

I do think that one of the keys to happiness is laughter, so please be able to laugh at yourself. I tend to be a bit serious, but having a "lightness" in spirit is important.

I'm addicted to adventure and find there's plenty of it in NYC- let's find a little trouble to make. I'm a passionate/romantic/old school gal but with lots of forward thinking notions. I subscribe to the notion that one should definitely not judge a book by its cover. I work in the entertainment business but took the last year off to travel and regroup.

Typically friends come to me to find out what's going on, but I'd love to hand over the planning to someone else--if you're interested of course.

I'm opinionated but open to discourse, and love a good heated conversation and really connecting over ideas. I value honesty and am respectful beyond reproach. Not into playing games and don't believe in returning emails 2 weeks later. I know we all get busy but our culture has made manners a thing of the past and that's not the way I roll.

I'm truly a solid gal who's looking for a solid guy. My picture is accurate and I'd appreciate the same.

How did I get here??

Recuperating from a crazy week as I much prefer to go out week nights.

I don't give up my secrets that easily but what I lack in the kitchen, I make up elsewhere!

You're intellectual...down to earth...willing to take chances...well-read and have a love of travel and exploration. You don't have to be artsy but you have to have a desire to do artistic things- I see a lot of theatre but don't let that scare you off. A sense of humor goes a long way as well. You're mature yet goofy. Serious but spontaneous. Is committed but flexible. Worldly and sophisticated without being a snob or wearing your power on your sleeve. I'm not looking for someone who thinks he's hip, but someone who's exudes "quality" if you know what I mean. Old school vs. new school perhaps.
