My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Both of my parents are in the film industry, so I grew up on set. It's still hard for me to watch a movie, because I just keep thinking about how the movie was made.

It's funny that I've ended up doing writing and projection art, because it's the closest a writer can get to being a film-maker (without actually being a filmmaker).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I run an art studio that explores power, ideology and technology using projection, language and code, a mentoring company that supports it and an artist union with which it is affiliated.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Identifying people who are smarter than me and surrounding myself with them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I am either having a really intense conversation with you or being very silly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
How about six things I'd like to learn more deeply: (1.) gardening, (2.) cooking, (3.) self-defense, (4.) JAVA and JAVAScript, (5.) the law, (6.) how to throw a really amazing party.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Can I publish poetry as a computer virus? Can I extend my senses through machines? Can I visualize data from the plants I want to hang in my window? How do I push that worse-mannered bar in personality all the way to the left (and more giving to the right)?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
if in NY, seeing art and/or having a drink w/friends.
if in PVD, hosting/dancing/studying/creating.

looking to go out dancing/exploring more/maybe events from the nonsense list-serve
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The only possible caveat I can think of (other than, y'know, my character flaws (this is hilarious, ps: is that I split my life between a couple places (NYC/PVD/LA, a nice affordance of digital labor, but an interesting disruption to the dating process).

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You've dedicated yourself to art-making. You've dedicated yourself to social justice. You're slightly gender-queer, more on the inside than out. You believe in love. You're smart, nice and fun. You're patient, practical and focused. You're happy in your body, or body oriented. You're probably an introvert, and looking for someone to bring you outside yourself.

Pretty specific, I know, but I think I'm onto something.
