My self-summary
I'm an intensely curious, driven, pragmatic and artistic person who likes brilliant, ambitious, kind, low key people.
What I’m doing with my life
I run a studio that projects political poetry onto buildings. I support it by running a company that mentors students with adhd/autism and doing research on computation and language. I co-run an artist union that brings together digital, eco and bio artists to build temporary pavilions/gathering spaces, mostly in the NY Area.
I’m really good at
Identifying people who are smarter than me and surrounding myself with them.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I am either having a really intense conversation with you or being very silly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Robert Rauschenberg, Krzysztof Wodiczko, Swoon, Mary Mattingly, Maya Lin, Francis Alys, CD Wright, Jen Bervin, Judith Goldman, Jenny Holzer, Robert Montgommery, Os Gemenos, Processing, Natural Language Processing, Algopop, Internet of Things, AR, Social Futurism, Decentralization, Capitalism w/o Oligarchy, Ghost in the Shell, Nausicaa, Flying Lotus, Polish Ambassador, Ursula LeGuin, Adventure Time, Hunger Games, Nausicaa, Full Metal Alchemist, Major Lazor, Grimes, etc.
The six things I could never do without
architecture (I feel about buildings what most people feel about music)
social futurism
heterodox economics
diversity (class, race, sex, cognition, ability, etc.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how the totalitarian regimes of the future will be governed by hipster indifference
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Only in dating, I'm a little shy, and really like the idea of getting to know someone slowly.
