I'm a stagehand to the bone. I have a feeling that even if I had a regular job, I'd still show all the qualities of a stagehand. I work hard. I play hard. And I'm a little bit crass at times. I curse and drink like a sailor, but I try to control both around mixed company. I am stealthy like the ninja. I like knots and dressing up in costumes and generally trying to figure out how things work. I have an intense love for Henry Rollins and Harry Potter and I'm currently trying to reconcile the two. I've been known to geek out about yarn and comic books. I have a level 74 retribution Paladin on World of Warcraft, but I haven't played in a few months. I don't currently affiliate myself with any specific religion, but if I had to pick one, I'd say I align best with Buddhism. George Harrison was my favorite Beatle.

For the most part, I'm a nice girl. But I'm not going to lie. I can be fucking vicious if properly motivated.

I'm currently a freelance stagehand. I don't know where it's going, but I'd really like to get a staff position at a regional theatre again. Or maybe get a gig on a tour or cruise line. Everything is still up in the air right now.

I recently got one of those jobs that's supposed to "pay the bills" (yeah right) at Medieval Times! haHA! I get to wear a stupid, unflattering costume and point a light at people. How silly is that?

I'm learning how to spin poi and fire staff....and trying to learn to be really good at things I'm only kind of good at.

Crocheting. Crafting in general. Making stuff work. Tying knots. Making messes. Offending people (apparently).

Favorite actor is Willem Dafoe, but I'm working on adding a few more names to that list apparently. I'll also add Alan Tudyk, Naveen Andrews, and Jason Segel to the list.
Favorite movies include but are not limited to Fritz Lang's Metropolis, Boondock Saints, The Big Lebowski, The Mariachi Trilogy, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I like westerns a lot.
I like a lot of music. Most recently I'm into Blutengel, VNV Nation, Melissa Ferrick, the Toadies, Rob Zombie, Frank Sinatra, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Tool, the Dresden Dolls, and Gogol Bordello among other things.
I've rediscovered the addictive nature of television. When I watch it, it's to see The Big Bang Theory, LOST, True Blood, Dollhouse, Dexter, ....and several other shows that I don't watch religiously.
I like food. A lot. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd say there's a tie between sushi and tacos. Fuel City tacos are the best!

Well, that depends. If I have a gig, I'm working. If I don't, I'm usually at a friend's house watching movies....or at home playing on the computer. There is no typical Friday night when you're a stagehand. A typical Friday night is just a few days away from Monday....

Also, I'm really only into men who are emotionally unavailable. That's a condition, actually--Batmanitis. The main symptom is "easily falls in love with men who have some sort of higher calling/personal life goal that does not include her and therefore can never really love her back." Look it up. The secondary symptom is "Batman is her favorite super hero."
