My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live a lot, laugh a lot, love a lot, learn a lot, and look for ways to leave a lasting impact.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Exactly what I've always wanted to do - with room for growth.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- pointing out the hilarious/ridiculous
- board games (I'm not really... i'm just insanely competitive where most don't care)
- impressions of people famous and notsomuch
- killing outdoor plants (unintentionally... i have watering issues).
- elaborate practical jokes - never mean-spirited though
- cooking. not baking.
- noticing details
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm usually smiling or laughing about something.
Common courtesy.
I pay attention.
Amazing memory

This is better unveiled through lots of conversation... but:

Books: way too hard. So many books, so many reasons... At the moment Jhumpa Lahiri, Nepo, Robert Cialdini, are on nightstand. A few others in "active status" on the iPad.

Movies: Usual Suspects, Color Purple, 6 Degrees of Separation, I <3 Huckabees, Closer, Eternal Sunshine, Amelie, Casablanca, Godfather I & II, Freakanomics and Ken Burns documentaries.

TV/Internet: The Wire, Dexter, Wilfred, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, Key and Peele, Daily Show, various Hulu streaming, do TED Talks count? How about reruns of that guy who used to paint landscapes on PBS? I've said too much...

Music: Vast. Wildy so. Very few constraints here if the artist is authentic and passionate.

Food: As cultural expression, as heritage, as collaboration, as the only art that can stimulate every sense, and ultimately must be consumed. The spicier the better IMHO.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family (friends included here)
Laughter
Travel
Water (as in "large body of". for diving, swimming, sailing, kayaking, wave jumping, centering, floating, respecting)
Purpose. Impact.
Silence
A piano and/or a drum to play at home.
8. Breaking rules and conventions. Six things? Bah!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
gratitude.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wondering if THIS is the night that the raccoon family in my backyard stages a 2AM coup for that unintentional hose incident a few months back.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Riiiiight.... that's gonna happen.

In person, people tend to just smile and say, "Hi". Not sure why OKC should be any different. Simple.
