My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The smell of fresh San Francisco fog is intoxicating.

I prefer oatmeal raisin cookies over chocolate chip.

I am learning to stop competing with myself in yoga.

I love the sound of rivers. Especially big Montana rivers like the Yellowstone, the Madison, the Firehole.

I love sports underdog movies.

I look 10 years younger than I am.

There is nothing better than sleeping in a bed in a tent.

I believe there’s only one rule - to not trespass on the rights of others.

I get freaked out by piles of paperwork. Then laugh at myself when dealing with them takes no time at all.

I struggle with assumptions, my own especially. Curiosity is possibly the most admirable trait I find in people.

I meditate daily. And I consider watching international soccer on television a kind of meditation, as well.

I believe that we’re all doing our best, moment to moment.

I aim to be like water that flows compassionately into the cracks and crevasses of my still hidden self. And into the same places of a woman who connects with all this malarkey.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For a living, I'm a writer, producer, playwright and teacher. For fun, I do the same thing.

I practice yoga regularly and volunteer at Yoga on the Labyrinth. I meditate every day. I have a weekly improv work-out.) I play soccer twice a week so often I walk with a sexy limp. (Hmm, maybe limping isn't so sexy.)

I am helping and witnessing my son turn into a good man.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Skipping stones

Hiking far afield
Quoting Shakespeare
Courage, compassion and self-expression

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The only thing I couldn't do without is my goofy/sullen/brilliant/evolving 17-year old son in my life. The rest are simply preferences...

The High Sierra
A really good pair of jeans

Often teaching. But I'd rather be cooking dinner, watching a movie, sprawled out on an overstuffed sofa.
