My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
OK, where do I start? If I tell you I’m funny, I’m going to have to prove it. That’s daunting. Forget I said I'm funny.

If I tell you I’m handsome, well, that’s in the eye of the beholder so don’t listen to me if I tell you I’m handsome. You, on the other hand, can tell me I’m handsome. That’s fine.

And if I tell you I’m on a spiritual journey, well, I don’t think spiritual journeyers going around yakking about it. So I’m not. Unless I am.

I can tell you that I’m kind, courageous and optimistic. Comfortable in both my masculinity and my expanding compassion for others, including myself.

For a living, I'm a writer and producer. For fun, I do the same thing. Unless clients are involved and then they ruin everything. (Just kidding if any of my clients are reading this…my clients are my muses and inspiration.)

I practice yoga regularly. I meditate every day. (Why do I still get pissed off in San Francisco traffic?) I play soccer twice a week so often I walk with a sexy limp.

I am learning to pause and be aware of the voices in my head. They tend to not be very supportive so I set them free. And I’m learning how to breathe after a life spent not breathing. Well, just enough to keep from suffocating.

People say I look far, far younger than my years. Healthy living, good genes, luck. My pictures are real and recent. My stated age is approximate.

I’ve been to Cuba and the foot of Mt. Everest but somehow never Maccu Picchu, unlike 90% of the people on this site. I play the guitar while crooning country-western ballads. I prefer oatmeal raisin cookies to chocolate chip. I love sports underdog movies.

I am helping and witnessing my son turn into a good man. I am refocusing and expanding my business. I am paying attention to what is real.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Skipping stones
Solving anagrams
Making children laugh
Fly fishing
Making it to the tops of mountains
Quoting Shakespeare
The first things people usually notice about me

How do I let go?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Often teaching. But I'd rather be cooking dinner, watching a movie, eventually sprawling out on an overstuffed sofa.
