Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things"
Spontaneous. Dedicated. Would rather spend a night in the
wilderness than at a 5 star hotel, but I still clean up pretty
nice. FUN. relaxed. Willing to work extraordinarily hard for what
matters, but have no problem letting the little things slide. Not
scared to settle down and definitely not scared to move on if it's
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pursuing a career
... I may be a bit of an idealist, I think.
Working doubles (make money, spend money)
^^ the free beer helps with that.
I have recently become fascinated with climbing. Join me!
Forging positive social relationships (the foundation)
Finding time for myself (necessary)
So, pretty much everything, all the time. Caffeine helps.
What's not to love about living in this wonderful place though?
Endless opportunity, intelligent, happy people, and uh...
sunshiiiiine, yea... that. Whatever. I think I like it here.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
(and subsequently) focusing
Power Pad Track and Field
Not taking myself too seriously. Which matters, to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My rugged good looks and... just playing! I tend to come of as the
strong, silent type. If you pry a little deeper though you'll get
optimism, genuine happiness, and a good natured spirit that can
relate to just about anyone on just about anything. I'm decidedly
introverted (in a decidedly non-socially awkward sort of way), so I
may have a certain intensity about me until we get to know each
other, but it's all a front―I swear.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Edward Abbey, The Giver, The Fountainhead, and Harry Potter
(obviously). Pretty much anything on mountaineering, or
river-running, or any non-fiction adventure story. Catcher in the
Rye (if that's not too cliché for you), Textbooks, or anything that
I can finish and get back to the library without $12.00 in late
fees—those are the best. It's a safe bet that at any given time
I'll have 3 books going―one of which I may eventually finish.
Shows: Cirque du Soleil
Music: Paul Simon
Food: What’s in the fridge? I strive to eat healthy: whole grains,
lean meat, green leafy vegetables, etc. etc... and I usually
achieve this, but I also have no qualms about smashing some
cheeseburgers and drinking a mid-afternoon beer in the sun. Balance
is key here, plus the doctor says I have a high metabolism.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Toilet paper (single-ply)
Gym shorts (for gym and for lounging)
To-do list (that never gets finished)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Laying low after a crazy week and cooking dinner with my roommates.
Possibly getting a happy hour drink or two with friends. If I had
my way every week I'd be camping underneath the stars, or rain, or
a roof (whatever) far away from home, and embarking upon grandiose
adventures come sunrise. Ask About It. More often than not though,
I'm probably still at work...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I dislike being told “how to be successful” in dating and in life.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're relatively well-adjusted and down to earth.
You're open to dating with no expectations but with the idea that
something may come of it. I'm a fun date I promise, but may be
looking for something a bit more meaningful.
Or if you want to do things. Like check out the new velociraptor
exhibit. Or open gym at that gymnastics place. Let's do some
