My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey all, I'm Brian.

Jersey Shore native and have lived here my whole life except for a four year stint in Pittsburgh, where my heart still lies, four months in Germany, and six months in Florida. As of right now, I spend the week up in Fords and South River and the weekends at my place in Brick. I love sports. I am a big fan of Pitt basketball, the New York Giants, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Nothing like spending a day at a sporting venue or attending a concert. Traveling and exploring are passions of mine. I've been to about 30 states, nine countries in Europe, and Ecuador as well. Many more to come!

I'm very independent and am not afraid to do my own thing rather than follow the crowd. I'm always game for trying and experiencing new things, and I mean that literally. Life's more interesting when you leave your comfort zone. I'm pretty bad at describing myself personality-wise, so that is something that you must find out yourself when getting to know me. But one helpful thing to know is that I am one of the most honest and just people you'll ever meet and I always try to do the right thing in whatever I do.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Graduated last year from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Urban Studies and minors in GIS and Economics. Working part-time (with basically full time hours) at my favorite pizzeria until the next job comes along, since Florida didn't work out quite like I had expected.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-My directional sense (reading maps, directions, finding my way around, not getting lost, etc)
-Planning road/sightseeing trips
-Losing my voice in the (Oakland) Zoo
-Lending an ear (or two) to others
-Analyzing past performances in the DRF
-Disappointing people when I tell them that us Jersey Shore residents are not like Snooki and the Situation.
-Interviews
-Taking pictures while driving
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Has anyone ever told you you look like Matt Damon?"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Don't really read since I can't sit still. But out of what I have read- Seabiscuit and The Catcher in the Rye.

Movies: Tommy Boy, Star Wars, Seabiscuit, the Blind Side, Rat Race, Inglorious Basterds, The Fifth Element, The Waterboy (and most Adam Sandler comedies), Die Hard, Finding Nemo, Bad Santa, A Christmas Story, Dances with Wolves, Field of Dreams, Independence Day, Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Austin Powers, Django Unchained, Remember the Titans, Ace Ventura, The Dark Knight (Rises), Miracle, Titanic, Silver Linings Playbook

Music: AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen are definitely my top two. Also: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, Nirvana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Elton John, John Mellencamp, Simon and Garfunkel, The Pretenders, Jimi Hendrix, Flogging Molly, Mumford and Sons, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Talking Heads, U2, Robin Trower, The Gaslight Anthem, Journey. Primarily classic rock but I'm also open to country, blues, bluegrass, some hip-hop and pop, and classical. One thing though: I really, really don't like rap (except for some Eminem) or screamo/death metal.

TV shows: Big Bang Theory, Jeopardy, Family Guy, South Park, the Simpsons, the Amazing Race, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Boondocks, trying to get into The Walking Dead, and (if this counts) any major college basketball game. But I really don't watch TV that often. I'll respect all you Whovians, but don't expect me to join you in watching. Sorry :)

Food: literally anything. Hungarian, French, Bosnian, Italian, Polish, German are the best. Also love Bavarian beer!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
God
Car
Laptop/iPhone
Friends and family
Sports (Pitt basketball, NY Giants, horse racing)
Travel photos/traveling, road trips
Music (Bruce!)

That's 7- oh well.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How can I further develop myself to become a better person?
The countless number of places I want to see and experience during my lifetime.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There really is no typical Friday night for me, so I really couldn't tell you. I mostly stay in because I'm not much for the bar scene, though if invited I will go out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It's not private, but I love horse racing (favorite hobby) and gambling once in a while. Other than that, there is nothing private about me that I am willing to admit. Mostly because I have nothing to hide, honestly. And I'm proud of that.
