My self-summary
I'm from the city originally. I run operations for a start-up and also just wound down a non-profit I founded called Nuru Project that sold photography to raise funds for social causes.

Before that I spent the past few years at business school, working in finance and backpacking randomly for a little over a year through Asia and Africa -- diving with whale sharks in Mozambique, getting beat up by Russian cops, bribing guards to sleep overnight on the Great Wall, getting drenched in city-wide water fights during New Years celebrations in Burma.

Some of my favorite things are travel without itineraries, outdoor beers, sweaty dance parties, the loose swagger of the stones' exile on main st., live music, everything to do with australia but mostly the people and the toast "cheers big ears," a good bass line, hot sauce, documentary photography, the last waltz, silliness, sleep, and the giddy anticipation of a distant but approaching skyline viewed from a car.
I’m really good at
Not bragging about myself. I'm OK at a lot of things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: Too much and too all over the place....

Food: Anything really. Favorite experiences have mostly been street food in the developing world.

TV: Not much, other than the great series - The Wire, Breaking Bad, True Detective, etc.

Reading: Not as many books as I should - the New Yorker and New York Mag mostly.
