My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Sharp-eyed and nimble-fingered. Misanthropic yet philanthropic, lexiphilic and audiophilic. Octogenarian impersonator.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spent last summer wintering in south america. Moved down to LA from the bay area in the fall to enter MRI tech school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning. Reading. Seeing. Empathy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My depth of personality and nuance of character.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

"... a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge. That’s why I read so much, Jon Snow.”

My Netflix queue is jammed with documentary, foreign and animated titles. City of Lost Children, American Beauty, Adaptation, Fight Club and Groundhog Day never get old.

Futurama, Venture Bros, Cowboy Bebop, Archer. House of Cards, House of Lies, The Newsroom, Episodes, Better Off Ted, Peaky Blinders, Bored to Death. Firefly.

Music is life. Live music is life squared. I've seen a lot of amazing concerts, and I'm always looking for the next show.

Quesadillas! Chiles rellenos, enchiladas, mole poblano. Tacos al pastor, ceviche, breakfast sandwiches! Dungeness crab and scallops and raw oysters. Fried chicken sandwiches! Cha siu, xiao long bao, peking duck, hot & sour soup. Sushi, tandoori, pho, banh mi! Pad kee mao, kao soi, som tam. Prosciutto!

Making and eating really good food are two of the most worthwhile pastimes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Learning and traveling, love and pleasure. Balance. Oh, and hot HOT chile peppers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
FOOD. Perceptions, vibrations. Eyes and hands, skin and muscle. Anatomy & physiology, pathology, electricity, magnetism. Music, sex, art. Connections. The micro and the macro. The space between. Us.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
"The disco ball's spinnin',
all the music and the women/
And the shots of tequila,
man they say that they need ya/
What they really just a little room to breathe"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like green tea in the mornings and strong espresso at night if I'm going out or peppermint tea if I'm staying in. I don't like girls who wear makeup and high heels all the time. I like sun on my skin, earth beneath my feet, and fresh air in my lungs. I want to read books and watch movies together, I want bike rides and road trips, all-day picnic hikes and knowing glances.
