Ocean Sailor began his life as a poor only child in the Louisiana swamps. He walked ten miles each way to school every day until stealing a car in the sixth grade. It was then that Ocean Sailor discovered the real meaning of hard work spending 2 ½ years in the Mississippi school for the mentally bewildered and emotionally challenged children. As a teenager Ocean Sailor was employed by the Cajun mafia to collect from country hillbillies and local tourists who visited for Mardi Gras and the Jazz and Heritage Festival. . Using the unique talents he picked up in his term at school, he performed his job extremely well and with very little loss of life. He was recruited by Nunzio Bagadonoughts in Manhattan where he was able to refine his skills. It was there he discovered that the Advertising and Media business was even more lucrative than collecting for a loan-shark so he went into the media business.

After bribing three associate professors and blackmailing the dean, Ocean Sailor received a bachelor’s degree from New York University. Further extortion tactics landed him a position with the prestigious Madison Avenue Advertising firm Grey Advertising. From there and after numerous job losses and financial misadventures Ocean Sailor decided to sail the oceans and fled the country with the authorities in hot pursuit. After two years sailing around the world, Ocean Sailor decided to return to the US and landed a position back in media with ABC/Disney. It was there that he refined his talent for extortion selling and increased revenue by over 50% in the first two years. Unfortunately his past caught up with him and he was forced out because of a minor disagreement with a senior Disney executive regarding an evening with the aforementioned executive’s wife and some money that was missing from the corporate account. Pleading his innocence throughout the trial, Ocean Sailor decided it was time to venture out in a new opportunity.

Contemplating the future at Governor’s, a pub in Chicago’s Loop, Ocean Sailor met what would soon become his next partner who had a background in law, politics, smuggling and street gambling. Immediately seeing the opportunity in combining their talented backgrounds, Ocean Sailor and a new partner formed a news distribution company. After all what could be a better way to spread mistruths than the news. After exhausting all credibility Ocean Sailor sold this company and moved on to another venture. More to come on that.

I read constantly mostly drama, fiction suspense novels. Also I enjoy historical novels that take place on the late 18th and early 19th century. Music is classic rock, Frank's place and folk.
