I am geeky, crazy, and hilarious.

My Self-Summary

I'm just an average geeky girl. I love going to concerts, watching movies, and singing. I'm from Boston, MA but I'm hanging out in London for grad school. I play a few instruments, but nothing well. I went to school for computer science and I have done theatre since I was 6. I have 3 cats and a dog back home and I miss them terribly. I dye my hair, and it suits me better than my natural color ever will. I love roadtrips and I love singing in my car. New York City is my favorite place to go for a day every few weekends or so and I miss it. I'm a bit shy until I get to know people, which can make me seem a bit standoffish but it isn't true!

And I promise I don't always smile like an idiot, those just happened to be some handy pictures.

Or actually, maybe I do.

What I’m doing with my life

Grad school! Yay!

I’m really good at

making terrible jokes!

And baking, singing, getting lost (car or on foot!), being awkward, and making an ass of myself completely sober.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm kind of tall and my hair can not be tamed. Oh, and sometimes I wear neon orange Chucks.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Once and Future King, Hamlet, Mists of Avalon, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, 1984, Childhood's End, The White Mountains, Tripods Trilogy, Inkheart trilogy, Foundation, Dune, Deverry series, Stephen King books, His Dark Materials, Have Space Suit--Will Travel, Just a Geek, Dancing Barefoot

movies: A Dog's Breakfast, The Departed, A Clockwork Orange, Clerks, Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars, Pulp Fiction, The Boondock Saints, LotR, Spaceballs, Wayne's World, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Logan's Run, Equilibrium, Die Hard, Singin' in the Rain, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Starchaser: The Legend of Orin, Snakes on a Plane, Galaxy Quest, Hudson Hawk, Once, Free Enterprise, Fanboys

music: Jump Little Children, Jim Boggia, Jonathan Coulton, The Frames, Slow Runner, Billy Idol, The Films, The Tossers, Tally Hall, Andrew Bird, Say Anything, Paul and Storm, Led Zeppelin, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Catch 22, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Big D and the Kids Table, The English Beat, The Specials, Aquabats, The Toasters, Journey, The Beatles, The Who, and the list just keeps going...

tv: Farscape, Stargate SG-1, Doctor Who, Firefly, X-Files, Sliders, Mythbusters, Ace of Cakes, Eureka, NUMB3RS, Heroes, Scrubs, Torchwood

food: almost anything vegetarian

The six things I could never do without

sunflower seeds, laptop, an oven, coffee, ska, theatre

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Sleep and schoolwork. Probably in that order.

On a typical Friday night I am

Being awesome, going to a concert (well, that's any day of the week really), or reading a book.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I love musical theatre entirely too much. Oh, and there is a 97% chance my Star Wars collection could kick your Star Wars collection's ass.

You should message me if

You feel like it. I'm a bit shy, so I probably won't message you first.

Or you like ska and are in London. I need a concert buddy!
