I'm a young professional who enjoys his work, and enjoys his days off even more. I've lived in 3 different countries, and got to see and taste the cultural nuances that make most of us unique. Unique is a word I like a lot; I strive to see what makes each individual their own person. When given a choice and I don't have a bias, I often choose the less traveled path.
However, that does not mean that I would flaunt my unusual thoughts and choices. I am a very diplomatic and calm guy. 2 things get on my nerves more than anything else, and one of them is self-righteous people. I'm open-minded enough to accept opinions opposed to mine, and respect them. The second thing that gets my hackles up is stupid people, and I mean stupid in the broadest sense : people who do not think before they speak, who repeat what they heard as if it was their own opinion, people who do not have high aims for their future ... The list goes on and on :-P If you have control over something, why not be smart about it ?
I'm also an honest and up-front guy. I might sugar-coat a sour pill, but I will make you swallow it lol (no pun intended). And despite all I've said so far, you would be hard-pressed to find a nicer guy. It's just that life has taught me to be sarcastic and realistic, to mitigate the abuse I get from being so nice and helpful.
Which is why laughter is my trade. I love to make people laugh, or just smile. It makes me feel accomplished when I get someone to smile at a joke I make, or by just being positive. Of course, dark humor is also within my means. I am well versed in sarcasm and mockery (often at my own expense). On the flip side, the guy who makes me smile already has the main key to my heart.
As for my free-time activities, they are very diverse. I love reading, but I also love the outdoors. Few things beat riding a bike when it's nice outside. I also like to play tennis and to ski. I don't watch TV often, but there are a few shows I absolutely enjoy. I like board games and card games, but unfortunately I don't know enough people who share that interest with me, so I rarely get to play them.
There are so many things I can share in here, but I'd rather do it face to face. I really enjoy getting to know new people, figuring out how they think and behave, and why.
