Generally I'm a really laid back guy who loves seeing movies, chatting with people, trying stuff I havent tried before and relaxing with people I feel comfortable around. Also getting delicious food at new places, I love trying foods I havent tried before!

I'm currently studying to be a teacher after having already finished my Bachelor of Arts in English and History (i love history). Currently taking a year off, working at coles and relaxing, getting a little money to play around with.

I have a great memory (which is pretty lame to say), and I love it when someone has an interest I can share with them, because I love learning new things even if they arent in my field of interest. I'm fairly good at video games but on the internet that doesnt mean much. I love joking around with people and some people say I have a good sense of humour, and I'd prefer to take them at face value on that one. Oh I am also great at randomly coming up with stories, recalling weird anecdotes or giving people or things random names or terms

I'm really tall, so that would be the first one. I'm pretty quiet with people I dont know well yet but I love to get to know people so once I'm familiar with someone they will usually notice I don't take things too seriously and I enjoy relaxing and laughing in a laid back way

Books
I love A Song of Ice and Fire, Lovecraft novels ,Robin Hobb's novels, Discworld, and Fantasy in general (love LOTR), though I also love novels like White Noise by Delilo and The Psychopath Test.

Anime and Manga
Favourites are the tatami galaxy, Evangelion, Akira, Perfect Blue, Ghost in the Shell, Sword of the Stanger and paradoxically Bakemonogatari and this season I'm quite enjoying Shinsekai Yori. There are alot more that I like, ask me for recommendations!

Shows
Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Boardwalk Empire, A Game of Thrones (god knows how many other HBO Series), Walking Dead, Firefly and god knows how many comedies. If it's funny I will probably have given it a go, especially stand up comedians!

Movies
I love the Coen brothers and Scorcese, and Joss Whedon doesnt get the love he deserves and can watch Polanski despite his history. Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, The Hobbit and the LOTR Films, the first Matrix films and so many others .Generally I also love foreign films, but I can watch anything, I just generally tend to enjoy quality directors. Probably have forgotten alot here, I can watch anything and am easily won over by cinematography and a good plot.

Music
I actually enjoy fairly lame pop (jpop and kpop) but I also listen to some rock and generally enjoy music in other languages more (i hate western pop).

Food
I love trying all foods! Favourites are Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai, and spicy foods, if it's spicy or there's alot of garlic I am so there. I would be happy to swap favourite restaurant lists or even recipes (I make a mean carbonara and a meatball you wouldn't scoff at)

I tend to overthink things so too many things really, suffice to say it ranges from worrying about university to wondering how to say fly in japanese (tonde)

Either getting dinner with my friends and then maybe playing some pool at townhall or seeing a movie, or just relaxing at home and talking with them over skype, maybe playing a round or 2 of dota2 or a little guild wars 2 with them, and generally just chatting with them.

I'm not a fan of some Woody Allen movies? I dunno I usually tend to keep stuff to myself until I know you better.

You enjoy hanging out and getting a bite to eat, have a healthy appreciation for good movies and tv shows and generally enjoy having a laid back time with someone, other than that I just enjoy getting to know people. Noone who is racist homophobic or generally unpleasant to be around please.
