My Self-Summary

Well, if this seems at all witty or clever, there's that. Smarter than some people, and not totally uninteresting, but humble if you can believe. Nice--pretty much offended by people who aren't--but I do like talking shit. 1/3 highbrow 2/3 lowbrow and not much in between. Loyal, honest. I'm a musician. Ergo, I spend a lot of time playing music. I read a lot, very slowly. Cynical, but I like to think I use it to comic effect. I work with mentally ill adults, so my work stories are, by definition, crazy. Nascent outdoorsman. Call it a "youthful predispostion" or "immaturity" but i rarely act my age.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: are awesome. Read them slowly. High lowbrow to Low highbrow.

Movies: Do not watch enough, but have been on a Herzog kick, lately. Cried at the end of Die Hard. Enjoy anything seen on a plane, especially anything involving cats and dogs.

Music: Weird punk stuff. Weird dance stuff. Normal soul stuff, rock stuff.
