I am smart, blond, and snuggly.

My Self-Summary

...it seems I'm even more leery of telling anything much of substance of myself on the intertoobz than I thought I was.
So obviously I come across as pretty reserved and private here, but nevertheless I tend to be pretty open in person, given half a chance.

I'm polyamorous, and my relationship needs are currently more than fulfilled, so it may be a while until you hear back from me, if at all. It's not you, it's me. ;)

What I’m doing with my life

I have a job. It pays the rent.

I’m really good at

Knitting. Well, not really, but I do make a mean pair of woolly socks.

The first things people usually notice about me

I honestly have no idea. Possibly the hair, since it's somewhat non-standard. Perhaps someone will enlighten me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Ah, books. I do so like books. Current favourite authors (please don't ask me remember any names of the actual books) include Neal Stephenson, Peter F. Hamilton, Charles Stross, Richard Morgan and Jon Courtenay Grimwood. You get the picture, no?
For light relief, Sir Terry Pratchett.

As far as movies go, I'm not picky, though lately I've been leaning towards action. Anything to keep me sufficiently distracted, really. A still-good example: The Matrix.

I prefer music with substance, which in practice usually translates as lots of guitars and a good base track. My radio is only ever tuned to Dublin's Phantom fm.

Mmmm food... Anything spicy and/or flavourful that didn't come from an animal (but I'm not a tree-hugging hippie! Really!).

The six things I could never do without

You know, beyond the basic monkey-needs like shelter, sustenance and social contact there really isn't anything I can think of I couldn't manage without.
Perhaps this means I'm low-maintenance?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Whether contemplating a change of career in these times is completely insane, or just plain stupid.
