I'm an average looking guy who enjoys videogames and board games and books. I enjoy an evening of going out to a restaurant and seeing a movie, or bowling or playing the games at Dave and Busters. I also enjoy nights staying in behind the computer screen, adventuring in the online worlds or in the fantasy inside my playstation.

Not religious but believe in the power of dreams. Not judgmental but not afraid to point out hypocrisy. Liberal, and confused by conservative thinking. I enjoy alternative music, and I'm a sucker for a good song about sex. I miss progressive talk, and I still listen online from time to time.

Heh, this is a long list so bear with me. Also sad that videogames are not here, so adding that one on as well.

Music: Tom Petty is my all time favorite, and I love the Beatles. I'm a sucker for any song about love. Hum, Flaming Lips, Daft Punk, The Pillows, Weezer, Gorillas, Cat Stevens, Moody Blues, Dire Straits... I love videogame music, how much of a geek am I? I own the Chrono Cross and Xenogears soundtracks, and the FF8 Orchestral album. Collect MP3s of others, shh don't tell anyone!

Books: I love reading, Stephen Donaldson's Chronicles of Thomas Covenant are my favorites. I love Tolkien, Murakami, Arthur Clark, Ray Bradbury. Pirsig's Zen and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance shaped alot of how I see myself in high school. Recently finished the first three Jacqueline Carey books, looking forward to reading the rest. I own copies of The Brothers Karamazov and Ciardi's translation of the Divine Comedy and I wish I had the type of memory that would let me quote them from memory. I enjoy reading nonfiction too, got a copy of Stephen Gould's Wonderful Life for christmas a couple years ago and think everyone should read it.

Movies: I love the Labyrinth. Everything about that world terrified me as a child and captivates me as an adult. Let's see, 12 Monkeys, Donny Darko, the Lord of the Rings movies (animated or Stephen Jackson), any of the Kevin Smith movies. I love anime as well, and own My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke.

I'm looking for people to share the adventure of life with. Do you play videogames, and enjoy boardgames? Do you listen to NPR in the car or at work on the weekends? Have cats and books? We'd probably be a good match.

I want someone who isn't afraid to be themselves and who is confident enough to want to pursue their dreams. I want someone who will play a new MMO with me, or an old one, or who would be comfortable playing games in the same room and sharing a kiss in between fights.

I'd like to find someone who I can suggest books to and who will read them, and who will let me poke through their library to find books that interest me. Someone who'd be willing to go along to game stores and book stores and the library just looking for nothing in particular.

I want someone who isn't afraid of falling in love, but can join me in exulting in the possibilities of new love.
