What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm lucky enough to have found a job that I really enjoy doing - running backpacker hostels. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually either reading, listening to music, singing and playing the piano, or wasting time on the internet. I enjoy backpacking and hope to travel and work abroad again in the near future. In the meantime I'm going to make the most of lovely Bristol, and I'd like to meet fun people to help me waste my time :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

I'm the kind of person who buys books compulsively. I'm always reading something. Currently I'm ploughing through Game of Thrones, which is great but not my usual thing. My all time favourite author is the sadly late Iain M Banks. I also love P G Wodehouse, Margaret Atwood, Stephen King. The best book I've read this year was Stoner by John Edward Williams.

My music taste is all over the place - one day you'll find me singing along to a Mahler symphony or a Schubert piano trio, the next day I'm listening to Radiohead, The Divine Comedy, Bon Iver, Disraeli, or Sufjan Stevens, and then getting obsessed with random quirk like William Shatner or the theme tune to the Thunderbirds.

TV - I don't watch lots but I do like Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe, Never Mind The Buzzcocks (although without Simon Amstell, it's just not the same. I LOVE Simon Amstell). On Netflix I binge on Archer, Arrested Development, and the new House Of Cards.

They don't ask about radio but you don't really know me until you realise just how much I love Radio 4.
