My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I moved to New York almost 2 years ago and have really enjoyed exploring the city (especially finding new brunch places). I'm a massive sports fan and I live and die with the NY Giants and my college hoops team. I have a quirky sense of humor and I'm not ashamed of it...when i meet new people it doesn't take long before I embarrass myself with a bad joke or silly comment. I tend to look on the bright side more often than not. I do work in finance but I don't fit most of the stereotypes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working hard and trying to have fun when I'm not working. I'm also trying desperately to not let Netflix consume my life. The polar vortex gives the edge to Netflix, but I'm fighting back!

In 6 months when i forget to update this I'm sure anyone reading this will be like "oh yea I forgot about the polar vortex eff that, that was the worst"

Cards Against Humanity, as long I'm with a group that borders on having no filter.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm working on becoming a good cook, but a lot of times I settle for being really good at ordering food on seamless. OK fine, I'm working on becoming a passable cook.

I'm also good at filling out an online profile

...and writing out sarcasm and having people understand it's sarcasm
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not exactly sure. I hope it's my smile, eyes, or something else sappy and nice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter, Hunger Games (the books were addicting but I think the story is overrated), A Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones). I'm a research analyst and I spend a lot of my time reading finance stuff at work, so I usually don't read that much at home

Movies: I loved American Hustle! You should go see it.

I love LA Confidential and Snatch. When i was growing up Mission Impossible was my favorite movie so I'll always have a soft spot for it even though I don't really like Tom Cruise. Thank You for Smoking is underrated

Music: I like top 40. I'm not sorry. specifically really bad dance music. My Pandora station is usually set on 90s pop or 90s R&B. I also like Nickelback*

TV Shows: I'm almost 4 seasons into Breaking Bad and it turned out everyone was right, it is amazing. Game of Thrones, House of Lies, Veep, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny, The League, House of Cards, American Horror Story, Family Guy Reruns, The Wire, Dexter (not season 8).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My iphone
2) My sports teams
3) Colors (seriously underrated how wonderful life is because there are colors)
4) A comfy mattress
5) Baseball (both to watch and play)
6) Travelling. I try and go at least one country and several cities I've never been each year.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New York Giants, going back to Spain, what i'm going to make for dinner / "do I have milk??? (or similar questions about if I need stuff to eat), whether Hogwarts is real and how I can get there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Enjoying a beer at a dive bar in my neighborhood with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I'd rather have a cocktail or a glass of wine instead of a beer.

you have a pulse.

but seriously, just do it. I like to have fun and meet people and am very open to starting a chat.

You scrolled all the way down to the bottom of my profile so you've basically done all the work already, might as well

*Just kidding, no one likes Nickelback
