Moving back to my old home Chicago in July. Giving up my
comfortable bourgeois life to try to be a writer and find
community. Good riddance to this sad excuse for a city. Bureaucrats
and ladder climbers have killed much of this place's soul.
I like people who are both intellectual and also crave new
experiences and buck social norms.
I have a lot of traits that seem on the surface to be
self-contradictory. I'm a cynic and a romantic, a hedonist and an
intellectual. I want to meet someone with whom I can enjoy all the
great things that are already in my life.
I'm an aspiring writer and philosopher. I'm almost always a bit
restless and quite the skeptic and cynic, but as my friends can
attest to, beneath the nihilistic exterior is someone to whom
things matter a great deal.

Teaching philosophy to undergrads. Other than that I'm usually
reading, looking for new art, drinking bourbon, or exploring the
city on bike, foot, and the metro. I also plan on doing a lot of
