Books: A Song of Ice and Fire (G.R.R. Martin)---Now on HBO.
Shakespeare, Freakonomics, some biographies/histories.
I read a lot more articles about current events or science than I
do books (The Economist and NYTimes).
Some directors I like: Wang kar wai, Tarantino, Kurosawa, Scorsese,
P.T. Anderson, and Wes Anderson.
Movies: Syriana, First Contact, Collateral, Lost in Translation,
Galaxy Quest, and Little Miss Sunshine. I really enjoyed Daniel Day
Lewis in Lincoln.
I also really like Paul Rudd films and Pixar movies.
Music: Mostly rock. A lot of 90's alternative, including Radiohead,
nirvana, NIN, tool, APC, system of a down as well as many others.
More recently, I like a lot of music that is on my Radiohead
Pandora station.
Food: Sushi and Mexican... I am also a pumpkin pie addict.
TV: Arrested Development, West Wing, Futurama, Farscape, Venture
Bros., Cowboy Bebop, BSG, Modern Family, Dexter, The Wire, The
Walking Dead. I'm really excited about the new Arrested Development
coming out.
