I recently moved back to NY, after living in New Orleans for the past 3 years (also lived there 8 years before Katrina.)

I have never been married, although I have had a few long term relationships, one of which included cohabitation.

I was born in the year of the Dog, so that might explain the loyalty, affection and occasional howling at the moon.

I like to surround myself with creative people who can make me laugh.

I've thought about lying about my age since most people think I'm around 30, but I'm too damn honest. Good genes, my family ages more slowly than most.

Must love pets. I have two dogs and a cat. Right now they live with my parents, however, I've always had animals in my life.

Something I love. I mainly work as a massage therapist. I've been doing it for 10 years. It's extremely rewarding work. I also model for art classes.

Books: I have a bit of a print addiction. Some favorites: Jitterbug Perfume, Monkeyluv, Omnivore's Dilemma, anything by David Sedaris, Sookie Stackhouse vampire novels, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones. Now reading Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City series.

Movies: Idiocracy, Memento (Or anything in the mindf**k genre), Grizzly Man, Dead Man, almost anything with Johnny Depp

Music: WWOZ, Interpol, Electric 6, James Hall, PULP, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Johnny Cash, the Shins, Nick Cave, Satchmo, Billie Holiday, Black Keys

Foodz: Pho, sushi, fancy cheeses, dark chocolate, organic bacon (from happy pigs). I miss getting hot pear cider from the Union Square farmer's market and borsht from Greenpoint.
I love to cook, and I'm happier when I have the chance to cook for others. I'm trying to eat more local and organic foods.

TV: Mighty Boosh, Flight of the Conchords, True Blood, LOST, Project Runway. My roommates have gotten me into The Walking Dead.

Dating - hence the dating website. If I had someone to date I wouldn't have to think about it and could concentrate on more productive thoughts.
How wonderful it would be to have sex anytime I wanted with someone I cared about that wasn't myself.
Why some guys on here seem so interested in dating girls who are 10+ years younger. Women hit their sexual peak about 15 years after men do and women tend to live longer, so it would just seem logical for guys to date older women. Although I guess young girls are less challenging and some guys are just lazy.
