My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I observe and remember things. I'm a bit of a smartass. Sometimes I don't get jokes. Sometimes I ruin them by guessing the punchline ahead of time. Let's be honest, most of what people put here is either a total cliché or something that sounds good but doesn't tell you about what kind of a person they are. At least you know what my writing style is like!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been cooking a lot of baked potatoes lately.

Things that I like to spend my free time on:
- Camping (canoe camping is the best balance between minimalist backpacking and comfortable car camping)
- Bikes
- Being bad at playing the harmonica and ukulele
- Being even worse at playing the guitar
- Watching "Frasier" on Netflix while doing the dishes (to be honest, I only really like half of this)
- Restoring old family photos from the 18-1900s
- Some classes that I'm taking which are pretty cool but also fairly stressful
- Books (and avoiding Game of Thrones spoilers ... just finished book one, and I've never seen the show!)
- Being with friends and going to dinner, bars, shows, or doing nothing in particular at all
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Standing upright on the L.

I'm a sucker for the apocalypse. But not apocalyptic food. Emergency rations aren't something I'd like to eat every day.

Last novel read: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, written by a Chicagoan. I promise I read grown-up books, too ...

The most private thing I'm willing to admit:
I totally skipped over the huge list of bands you listed in your profile.

Cream soda is the best soda. Gala apples are the best apples.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"It contributes greatly towards a man's moral and intellectual health to be brought into habits of companionship with individuals unlike himself, who care little for his pursuits, and whose sphere and abilities he must go out of himself to appreciate." - Narrator, "The Scarlet Letter," Nathaniel Hawthorne.
