i'm the oldest of five children. desirae, aka the deej, is my younger 21 year old sister. although she is quite the evil little bastard, she is everything that i need to be in life. she possesses all of my strengths and none of my weaknesses. she's strong, responsible, and brilliant. yet i'm still smarter...and prettier. esteban, aka stevie, is my one and only brother. he's more than a typical 17 year old boy. sure he loves to go out with his friends and hang out, but being the "man" of his house...he is more responsible than most people can be at his age. he does his best to look after our younger sisters, felicia (14) and gina(12). <3

when i'm not working, i like to do things that challenge me mentally and philosophically speaking. i try my best to come to a better understanding of this funny little world we live in. i do have the tendacy to be a huge dork. i like to read comics as much as any other books. superboy ftw! i also like to game from time to time. due to my competitive nature, i like to play fighting games or any kind of game whereas i can quip "i kicked your ass!" when i win. *cough cough world of warcraft cough.*

i have quite a few peeves. the main one being ignorance. i cannot stand people who don't try to look outside of their own little world to look on the outside. its quite a shame. i have little to no patience for whiny people. well, we all whine from time to time. i just find people who whine about shit, and don't make any attempt to resolve their problems, to be quite lame.

i have this huge problem of thinking i can do it all. to better explain it...i have it in my head that i can be there for anyone and everyone i love, as well as sustain my own self. if anyone has ever tried, its impossible to appease everyone when you can barely take care of yourself. i just have this "knight in shining armor" complex. whether or not i'll overcome this trait, or perhaps succeed in it sometime, is soon to be determined.

if i could have any "super" power, i think i'd like to have invulnerability. the idea of getting hit by a car and not having a scratch could have its advantages. besides, i'm a huge juggernaut fan.

(NEVER get your nipple pierced. it hurts like hearing lady gaga sing.) i like all music that isn't bad. by bad, i mean i hate lil wayne, lady gaga, and anything that has airhorns spamming in the background. i blame shoulder lean and laffy taffy for this. i play ddr, and i'm pretty beastly at it. i've broken my arm twice, and leg once. i'm ambidextrous ( i'm good with both hands, no pun intended.....or is it?) i can't whistle, and it pisses me off. i used to be an alcoholic, but now i can't take a shot of liquid cocaine without walking into walls.

i'm a senior at purdue calumet. i'm about to obtain my b.s. in biology. i plan to use my degree to teach for a bit until i can save up money for grad school.

If anything, I want to help as many people as I can. Growing up, I had wanted to be a doctor. Currently, those aspirations are alive in me, yet I'm thinking I can do more help by being a teacher.
