My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am going to try something different. I am going to remove all adjectives about myself, I will just talk about the things I do and then you can assign the proper adjectives you think would apply to me. (If you're from San Diego or Las Vegas, I'm sorry I wish I knew why OKC decides to show my profile in the activity feed out there. I never go out there.)

There's no possible way four letters will describe me and my personality. So here's several letters and words that might give a better idea:

I currently attend UC Irvine studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. I am going for my BA. I enjoy playing the guitar and have been doing so for 13 years, composing my own music for the past 10 years. I've been known to make songs for others when inspiration hits. I would try to learn your favorite song if it was something I too liked, sorry won't be playing Hey There Delilah. No, just never. Ever.

I like to cook, grill, bbq and bake. I really like to learn new things and help others cook and learn from them. It's really not that hard when instructions and measurements are all laid out for you, I am surprised more people don't cook for themselves. :) I took a curry making class at UCI, and I will be taking classes on Indian food, Peruvian Food and making Japanese noodles from scratch.

I drove from Irvine to Redondo Beach to help a friend move from one apt to another. I offer rides to airports when friends fly out. I will call friends that are sick and ask if they would like some warm soup to be brought over.

I love being in the out doors, whether it's hiking or camping. Thank god the government shut down finally ended, now state parks are open again and I can go camping. Which I will, on Nov 1st. I can't wait :) It's been too long. There's something so liberating about being away from technology and civilization. Knowing that no one can reach my cell phone, that I can't check email. That I don't have to think about how many people may or may not have visited my OKC profile. And of course, the breath taking silence at night is punctuated by one of the most beautiful natural sights you will ever behold. The night time sky in the desert. Once you experience it, you will feel robbed when you look up at night from within the city.

I took a class on telescope optics and built a telescope completely by hand. It was a lot of time and effort but completely worth it once I finally looked through it and saw the Moon in so much beautiful detail. And was blown away when I saw Saturn through it from Los Angeles despite all it's light pollution.

I like watching science and history documentaries, Ted Talks, and channels on Youtube like MinutePhysics, Vsauce, SciShow, SmarterEveryDay etc. I know who Neil Tyson Degrasse is. If you don't know who he is, but you know who Sheldon Cooper is and you call yourself a nerd, sorry you're not a nerd.

I don't believe in god. I don't care if you do. Just know that you won't convert me. Nor will I try to dissuade you from your beliefs.

I enjoy karaoke and always up for it. I know of a nice divey bar in Newport that has it and great drink prices.

I enjoy witty banter and deep conversations. As well as light hearted convos. I am up for just about anything one can think of that's fun.

I'm new to Irvine, my friends are far, so I am looking for and welcome new friends. :)

Note: No one likes rejection =P If you visit my profile and don't message me I'll just assume you weren't interested and won't go on your profile :) So shoot me a message if you want to talk, even a simple hello. I really have answered every unsolicited message I've gotten, all nine of them haha.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Went back to school after my quarter life crisis, (that was a joke) and transferred to and currently attending UC Irvine. I am working, being involved on campus in clubs, taking the occasional cooking class here and there, and taking the self defense class Krav Maga at UC Irvine. UC Irvine offers so much, I love this school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing the guitar, cooking, and making people laugh. I also make a pretty damn good cheese cake, like from scratch, not out of a packet.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor and wit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books: Lord of The Rings series for both nostalgic reasons but also because they're great books. There's too many great books to list. I don't gravitate towards any particular genre, if it's great I'll read it. Last book I read was The Prestige which is the book the movie was based off of. Last really great book I read was Wally Lamb's "i know this much is true"

Movies: same with books, too many great ones to list. again i dont focus on any one genre, i watch good movies doesn't matter the genre

shows: i don't actively watch tv, but i'll watch stuff streamed The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, boardwalk empire, Dexter, Breaking Bad, the walking dead etc etc...and can't forget arrested development

music: classic rock, Muse, RHCP, old smashing pumpkins, silverchair, radiohead, the black keys, elliott smith, jeff buckley (if you love jeff buckley just go ahead and message me right now) etc etc so many to name. muse is my current fav band though and I always try to see them in concert when i can. i saw them 1/23/13 at staples center, for the 5th time over all. they were amazing as usual. Also like classical music, flamenco, bossa nova, and spanish guitar.

food: anything good. no olives though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, my guitars, literature, modern medicine haha, friends, and knowledge
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, deep philosophical thoughts like "why isn't education free?" And "why did that asshole cut me off?"

Also why do women put as their most private thing to share "I'm on okcupid/a dating site".....like really is anyone ever fucking shocked that you're on okc since you know, we found your profile on okc?

Do women ever browse through male profiles or do they just log in and have 50 unread messages from 49 guys who clearly have a venereal disease?

Why aren't The XX, and Chuck Palahniuk billionaires? I find them on every woman's profile it seems like.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Enjoying my Friday night, what ever it is I may be doing.
Bob Dylan said it best https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FISHEO3gsM
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
one doesn't admit private things publicly.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're a cool down to earth person that is looking for interesting and witty conversation and looking to share and be exposed to new music. Also especially if you love Muse.

Again, I am also looking for friends around the Irvine area :) So if you think we'd make good, fun friends message me please.

you don't wan't to conform to gender roles where the guy is supposed to make the first move, seriously, if you're looking at my profile first and i haven't looked at yours, message me =p it's ok to make the first move
