I am all about loving life and living the moment to the fullest. I value my time with my family. I have two wonderful boys that I love dearly. I admit I can be a bit of a softy and will do almost anything I know they'll love. I like to do things I've never done before; having new experiences and adventures makes life more interesting. I enjoy spending time outdoors. Even in the burbs you can find ways to connect with nature. I love going for walks. Nowadays it's a challenge, but I still like looking for seashells at the beach. I love photography and think every picture tells an interesting story. I like doing creative activities whether it's painting, knitting, or just doing crafts with my kids.

Despite the stereotype, I have never had any trouble figuring out how to hook up anything, program any basic audio/video components, or put together anything (that requires following instructions, hopefully printed in comprehensible English) as good as any guy I know.

People have told me that my eyes are a notable feature. Also, that I am shy when I first meet people.

I love to read. One of my favorite authors is Dean Koontz. I like anything from old classics The Turn of the Screw to modern day best sellers Harry Potter. For some reason I am drawn to books with stories set in other countries Joy Luck Club Circle of Friends The Thorn Birds The Caliph's House: A Year in Casablanca.

My taste in movies is just as varied. From tear jerking chick flicks Titanic Life is Beautiful to gritty thrillers Pulp Fiction No Country for Old Men. I often seek movies that have earned some critical acclaim One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Into the Wild, but I have enjoyed cult classics Harold and Maude Twenty Bucks and movies with no real redeeming value other than sheer entertainment.

I usually listen to new, popular, mainstream music. I'm not that interested in Hip-Hop, but some R&B is good. And I used to like Country, but not too much anymore, some songs I still like though. I have heard some music I like classified as Adult Alternative; whatever that means...

As for food, I like all kinds, American, Chinese, Italian, Greek, Indian, Mexican, German, etc.
