My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an actor/musician, whiskey sommelier/barkeep/soundman, yoga teacher, editor/writer/producer, and I do volunteer work with kids and prison inmates (not at the same time.) A lot of slashes, I know, but I'm doing all I can.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Ok, I have 11 jobs. I don't sleep much, but I will make time for the right lady. I'm involved with two theater companies in L.A., acting in one play and understudying in another right now. When I'm not editing, I'm reading, researching something or writing. The bar job pays for all the volunteer work, I have time for auditions, etc. In the wee hours I write songs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Creative problem-solving (which is integral to all mediums of performance,) cooking, singing, talking about whiskey, pulling the trigger, moving around urgently for long periods of time, being gnarly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My outgoing nature. My desire to help. The crazy look on my face. Body odor? My constant motion, and refusal to take "no" for an answer.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Ask The Dust, Dr. Strangelove, I don't have a TV, I'm addicted to KCRW, I eat really healthy most of the time, but sometimes I slip. I need a woman who will make me want to read more, but will understand when I stay up all night writing. Someone who will make me watch more movies.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Air, water, friends, food, art, passion. Seems like a stupid question?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Other people. Whatever the hell I'm supposed to be doing. Things I don't want to think about. Inventions. Songs and poetry. The state of the world. The cosmos. My family. The road right in front of me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing the title role in the longest-running play in L.A., or maybe I have the night off and I'm cooking at home, cleaning house and listening to the radio, editing, thinking about whiskey, playing some music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm scared of dying of cancer, or some other horrible disease. I'm not a very private person, obviously, I'm on this website.
