I'm the guy who speaks to the older ladies in the supermarket and chats with the waiters at restaurants.

I like to laugh with people, and find a bit of self deprecation usually gets a bit of a laugh going.

I don't take myself too seriously for sure, not to mean I am not serious when I need to be.

I am a bit of a geek. But just a bit. Love my work too, but it doesn't dominate my life. Currently in transport planning...trying to shape a more sustainable city and state.

The fire in the belly isn't a raging inferno any more, but my social justice heart still beats strong.

I love my time with my daughter.
She's 5 and is full of all the questions and wonder.

I love my friends, they are my family. I love my bicycle (no lycra). Love David Attenborough or any good doco about some wonderful part of the planet. I love my downtime.

Just wondering if anyone out there can make me laugh, challenge me and make me think. Oh...and have some fun.

What the world will be like in 100 years and what I am doing about it.

I do like to be out on Friday night...sometimes with the work crew or with friends. Find I need to decompress some weeks more than others. Having said that, I could be anywhere really.

You are left of centre, like to laugh, don't mind that I have a daughter, want to flirt while we discuss philosophy or the origin of existence, want to ride a bike with me, want to curl up on the couch, want to have breakfast, you are happy to listen to me bang on about trams and cycling, love Melbourne and you are real and honest. Hmm...or not, whatever, who knows...
