My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After winter, Spring.

I like this place, this home, this story.
I like sitting here on my favorite bed, looking out the window at the lights of Oakland, below.

I like working too much, and the passion I bring to my work.

I like how my friends treat me, care for me, love me.

I am many things, many wonderful and many ugly, and whole, a whole person, a whole being.

I recognize that sucks as a come-on, but hey, that's the deal.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing patterns. Being curious. Understanding systems. Balancing things on my chin. Cocreating scenius. Being inspired by good ideas. More.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
(outdated, but descriptive. So here it is.)
What the first nine months of 2013 will bring.

I've recently begun cooking for myself daily (after an adult lifetime of mostly eating out), and I'm excited about how that will change me.

I've been running a small business for about a year now - a dozen employees, many of whom I count as trusted friends - and I think about that alot, at least during the workweek. :) I love it, and it's a source of much learning and enjoyment.

I'm slowly, consciously training to climb El Capitan (1 year and 8 months from now), and that gives the excuse to do strength training, overcome my fear of lead climbing, learn trad, perhaps even transform this lovely beer belly into a lovely six-pack. :P

And, of course, I'm thinking about how to ..(and how to say this...) how to make avenues of welcome for a partner. How to reach outside my safe and somewhat isolated little box of laptop-ism and find love. Voila, here we begin.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
It seems to me that relationships are best begun while sharing something we're passionate about, doing something that enlivens us. I'll likely attempt to bring you rock-climbing, or to a talk at Long Now, or on some random adventure.

My favorite people are intelligent, playful, quick to laugh, perceptive, and appreciative of the wonder of being alive. If that's you, come on over to this side of the table.
