(I'm moving to New Orleans in August)
(Alan Watts: “Trying to define yourself is like
trying to bite your own teeth.”)
I was born and raised in New Orleans. I'm guessing that's the reason I have a childlike enthusiasm for festivity. Sooner or later, you'll see it come out, especially if I'm hosting themed party.
What else am I enthusiastic about? Spinning words around each other, discovering new points of view, compelling media (music, film, literature), creating creative projects, and dancing (which is a creative projection of my body across a dance floor).
I'm a bit of an eccentric with basic to advanced social skills, depending on the day and how interested I am in the situation.
Think of me as optimistic in post-apocalyptic way (I'm actually touched by the way the musicians keep playing though the ship is sinking). Imagine something between eschatology and abstract finger painting...
Queer[ish]. I can like you regardless of sex-characteristics and my attitude and orientation towards my own gender isn't exactly mainstream.
radical politics | anti-racist | queer-feminist politics | etc.
If there's a cyborg-trickster politics out there. I'm for it, too.
I pretty much dig social justice and counter cultural networks.
If you think we're going to be monogamous, you're kinda wrong.
I'm fluid and I'm attracted to ideas as well as people.
