My self-summary
Pint-sized brunette who can keep score at a baseball game and make a mean batch of double fudge brownies. I’d like to think I’m a pretty low key person - I enjoy cooking, sporting events, walking around the city, dive bars, and searching for the best cheeseburger in New York (Minetta Tavern at present). Karaoke is also an occasional vice.

As far as who I’m looking for, sense of humor is huge. If you can make me laugh, I’ll probably like you. In fact, my friend dared me to model my profile after Charlie’s on It's Always Sunny. If you get that reference, please don’t be shy and message me immediately. Look forward to meeting you!
What I’m doing with my life
I've recently started a job as a university career counselor. It's something I've been looking to get into for some time, and I'm thrilled about it.

In my free time, I play intramural dodgeball, do a little volunteer work, experiment with cooking/baking, and hang out with friends and my dog, Oliver. I love checking out live music/comedy/theatre. And I recently bought an acoustic guitar, so messing around on it is a new (read: unsuccessful) hobby.
I’m really good at
knowing useless pop culture info (although I'm clutch for pub trivia), spotting C-list celebs, baking and playing a couple of non-guitar instruments.
The first things people usually notice about me
my height (or lack thereof)
my glasses, if I'm wearing them
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
To Kill a Mockingbird, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, The World According to Garp, Everything is Illuminated, No Reservations, The Catcher in the Rye, The Namesake, Born Round

Back to the Future, The Little Mermaid, Say Anything, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Clueless, Wet Hot American Summer, The Wedding Singer, School of Rock, Mrs. Doubtfire, Mean Girls, Woody Allen films, anything involving the Muppets. Love a good documentary, and I'm a sucker for sports-related movies - so I'm very into the ESPN 30-for-30 series.

Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, Mad Men, Louie, Friday Night Lights, Happy Endings, The League, Homeland, Workaholics, Veep, Enlightened, LOST, Freaks & Geeks, Curb, Top Chef, Chopped, Kroll Show, Key & Peele.

Beatles, Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Ben Folds, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Stevie Wonder, U2, Weezer, Pearl Jam, Simon & Garfunkel, John Legend, Jay-Z, Tegan & Sara, bluegrass, folk, showtunes (my insane love for musicals will come out sooner or later)... and I listen to some podcasts.

Cheeseburgers. But I do branch out.
The six things I could never do without
my family
my dog
water
food (taking the literal route here I guess)
shoes?
soap seems pretty crucial
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the best karaoke song to impress a roomful of people...what's yours?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a big Kelly Clarkson fan, though I don't think this is shameful - she is legit.

I'm also newly into Demi Lovato, so judge away! Just remember that ESPN bit from above.
