My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey there, a bit about me then...

I love good company, music & being creative. Moved up from somerset 4 years ago to have a little less fun and forge a career as a craftsman. I've been busy and quite well behaved so I'm still looking to develop my social life, beyond my close group.

I have a calm but enthusiastic energy. Dry/dark humour, although this is often less successful in type.

It's fairly early days for my furniture making, but I'm enjoying finally getting my ideas out of the sketchbook more than I could explain :)

I play drums but have recently fallen deeply in love with the bass.
I try to produce a bit of deep & bouncy Techouse too. I'm nearly there.

Not into one night stands, but maybe something between that and a full blown relationship, it all depends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making friends, furniture and music.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing the best in situations and people,
Ideas, (making/designing/inventing)
Walking rather fast,
Grooving, (bass/beats/shape throwing)
Being all loving and stuff. vom!:)
The first things people usually notice about me

I'm guessing that most of my hair is now on the bottom of my face. Failing that my lips. Also, hopefully, that I'm a decent, friendly chap who looks better than he does in photos.

I've changed my mind -
I think they wonder why I'm struggling with eye contact.
It doesn't last long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Not much TV - Documentaries, nature, anything Mitchell & Webb, satire, dark comedy, League of Gent's, any Chris Morris, any Armando Iannucci, Flight of the Concords, some drama.
Can't really think. Come Dine on lazy Sundays. Never soaps.

I like my films a bit arty, again comedy, black comedy preferably, or a decent story about interesting interaction, Pixar of course, Independent films often, some mainstream. Maybe drama or thriller if its got a bit of substance. There's little joy for me watching horror.

Right. Music. Rather than list I'll say that I'm not a snob or Nazi about it - I love my cheese as long as its decent, disposable gabbling airbrushed pop is not for me. Groove is in the heart on the other hand will never die.

Tend to favour deep, soulful or just plain fat music. Old soul recordings are one of the purest joys in my life. Often though my choice would be bass or beat driven, something with a bit of attitude if a band but not as far as metal, The Chilli's say or White Stripes. Some areas spring to mind in no particular order -

House/Techouse!, folk, old/new rock (I suppose some is indy), some brakes trip hop & hip hop, dub/ska/reggae, acoustic singer songwriter stuff!, blues, funk, some jazz, gypsy swing, electro, some D&B...
I will improve this box.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Love & friendship,
A mission,
My faint cosmic/spiritual streak that gives me hope when logic doesn't.
Sex & cuddles. There I said it. And I was only allowed 6.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lifestyle/health improvement at the moment I suppose,
Design & how to construct things,
The people I know and care about,
Giving up smoking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing the most exciting option. Regardless of venue it will certainly involve music (hopefully loud), good people (hopefully some new ones too) and drinks, can't forget the drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My irrational, and far from butch, enjoyment of answering OkC questions.
