My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Okay. I'm Olivia.
I am quiet until I know you. I'm a reader, but I'd rather write. I'll go to museums and shows any day, but my artistic skills are equivalent to those of a fifth grader. I love to cook, but I'd rather be cooked for. I love music, but I can't sing. I don't care much about my own feelings, but if someone hurts anyone I care about, his days are numbered. I'm kind of a smartass, but I'll admit to my faults. I love to talk about serious things, but I want someone who will make me laugh. I love to drive, but I get car sick. My favorite color is yellow, but I hate mustard. I have five tattoos and two piercings so far; I'm aching for another. And basically, I'm a walking contradiction. I'd love to see if anyone could riddle me out.

Also, I text using correct grammar.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a biomedical engineering major. Once I obtain my bachelor's degree I'll either proceed to a master's or tackle med school. I haven't quite decided. But right now, that's the plan.
It seems so harsh and so... mechanic when I put it in words.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm exceptionally average at everything.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. Or the fact that my hair is probably a different color than the last time they saw me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Harry Potter. The Hunger Games were great- go read them now. The Case of the Exploding Mangoes. The Defenestration of Bob T. Hash III. The Beautiful Miscellaneous. The Lord of the Rings. Recently I've been reading a lot of Thoreau's writings; he speaks in volumes. I'm a sucker for the 1, 2, & 3 dollar sections outside of the Books A Million.

Movies. I love movies, but I am also that annoying person that doesn't like to immediately talk about all of my opinions right after seeing one. I like to consider several aspects of the experience including the soundtrack, editing, and film style; I'm too analytical I suppose. Some favorites would be Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Pulp Fiction, and The Breakfast Club. I own all of the Harry Potter movies, the Matrix movies, the (original) Star Wars, and the LOTR movies. I often have marathons on my days off when it's far too cold to venture out.

Music wise, I like just about everything. I will literally follow Dear Enemy with Tim McGraw. This week, I can't get enough of The Black Keys and Hot Hot Heat.

Food- I will try anything once. So far the only things I despise are onions and mayonnaise.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books and music belong on this list. The other four slots are constantly changing around as I sort out my priorities.

I have decided on the third: good beer. I'm not talking Yuengling, either. I need a great Siren Noirre, a Hopzilla, maybe a few imperial stouts every now and then. Dogfish 90 minute- possibly my favorite IPA.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My poetry. It is very elementary and written very simply. But I am almost always writing them down precisely as I think of them. I cannot go back to them, because I know I will change everything so many times that it will no longer be whatever I felt it should. Regardless, they are always floating around in my mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Well that just depends on who I'm with. Sometimes I'll be out and about but there's nothing wrong with cuddling up for a funny movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If you live far away from me, I probably won't message you back. I would rather not risk the heartache.

Also, I hardly ever message first. This is not due to narcissism or even the belief that chivalry exists (though one can hope). It is because I feel as if you have probably seen me, and I did not appeal to you. So, even if I'm interested, I will wait. Doesn't make much sense, does it?

You're partial to the night sky. If you're vaguely attracted to rooftops.
