My Self-Summary

I am a recent Harvard graduate that just returned to Boston after a year living in rural Kenya. I work in the public health field and I'm looking to get back into the dating scene. Spent far too much time living with the Maasai and am loving being back in the States, though I miss living in the bush (ha!).

I am really into people that are willing to talk about just about anything. I can get passionate about any topic, and love learning new things. I'm really observant and always trying to figure things out, and I love when I find other people that are as interested in the world as I am. I typically know a little something about everything.

I'll often wake up with a random idea and not be able to rest until I've explored it or accomplished it. This has ranged from deciding to build a new piece of furniture to climbing Mt. Washington to moving to Africa. I can get really passionate really fast.

What I’m doing with my life

I am working on a project to develop a new solar powered, computerized medical record keeping system for rural African health clinics. I spent the past year in Kenya implementing and testing the prototype, and now I'm back in Boston managing research and development. Also applying to medical school. I know that sounds ambitious, but I swear I'm down to earth...

Other than that, I really have no idea what I'm doing. I have no sense of where I'm going, or where I'll be in 6 months let alone 6 years. I'm sort of floating right now and looking for someone to float with.

I typically like non-fiction books, especially ones dealing with anthropology. Reading kicks ass.

I love movies and will watch just about anything. I like Wes Anderson a lot and am a fan of most of your typical 20-something favorites (Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, etc). But the one thing I have a massive soft spot for is zombie movies. Zombies are the ultimate genre and I am always willing to sit down and watch one.

Anything and everything. This morning I spent a while figuring out the best way to make a random number generator, and yesterday I think I figured out the cause of the quarter life crisis.
