My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ok, here goes nothing!

I work hard, play hard, value loyalty and decency, have an amazing family and fab friends. I laugh A LOT and try my hardest to see the positives in everything. Some of my favourite things include: the sea, the stars, dancing, cooking, laughing until it hurts, smiling at strangers, exploring new places, good grammar, carpet picnics, vodka, football, listening to the rain...

I've been single for a while now and although I'm independent and comfortable with my own company, I've realised that I'm ready to find my partner in crime.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I relocated to Brighton from London on my own a while back - new city, new flat, new job. It was a bit of a whirlwind but definitely the right decision. I work for an events company and, despite it being totally manic, I love my job. My dream is to be a best selling author one day...give me time...!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, caring, cooking, being daft, pulling pints, my job, laughing (is that a skill?!) and tonnes of REALLY impressive things that have slipped my mind!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not a very original answer, but my smile. I smile at everyone, which in London used to get me some pretty strange looks but here seems far more acceptable - yay! I'm one of those people who wears their heart on their sleeve - safe to say, I've not got a very good poker face.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books...To Kill a Mocking Bird wins every time; every school kid should have to read it. The Notebook, anything by Elizabeth Berg, anything depressing! Khaled Hosseini is the most amazing and moving writer; his books literally make me sob like a loony. Hmm, yes, I'm a bit of a bookworm.

Movies...some old favourites off the top of my head are Dead Poets Society, Carlito's Way, Scent of a Woman (weird mega-crush on Al Pacino), Walk The Line, The Hangover.

TV...not fussed really, but I have a weakness for MOTD if I'm on my couch at the right time (Liverpool fan).

Music...just about anything goes. For dancing, drum n bass is my preference but for relaxing, something undemanding like Morcheeba, Urban Species, Groove Armada, Counting Crows.

Food...I'm a chocoholic, love a good quality espresso, hummus, broccoli, courgettes...and mashed potato with gravy. That would be my (classy) last meal on Death Row. Not that I intend to end up there of course.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
My friends
Chocolate
Hand cream
August & Everything After
Pen & paper (aww come on, that's one thing!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
EVERYTHING. I'm a thinker, without a doubt. I mostly consider this to be a good thing (mostly!).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Jumping on a train to visit a mate, meeting friends at the station who've come to stay from London, or heading out with work colleagues for a 'quick' drink. I still love a spontaneous night out clubbing but I don't have any issues with waking up early on a weekend without a hangover, springing out of bed and going for a long walk along the coast.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Oh COME ON. I'm not sharing any secrets yet :-)
