My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't know. I really don't! Baffled so I am.

So, shall we begin right here?

So feel free to say hello on a friendly basis too :)

P.S. That is a comic taking the piss out of the friendzone concept. I do not own a fedora.

I have a friend who refers to this site as the argos catalogue of boys. That amuses me on several levels.

Now, to me...

I love the smell of the sea. I love the feeling of a powerful well designed bike sliding the back end out in the wet and lifting the front end under acceleration. I love the feeling of passing stationary cars in city traffic. I love the taste of skin and how it smells after it has been licked. I bite, just a little. I think we're going to make it (as a species), but only just, and only until we run out of stars. And, sadly, we will run out of stars. All things must die. I love lying in long grass on a sunny day. I love tea and am rather partial to coffee. I hate onions. I have a terrible memory but I usually write it down. I have a lot of wonderful friends male and female and I can't understand people who think men and women can't be friends without their genitals getting involved... I find a lot of my female friends very attractive, but they remain friends. Let's face it if you know someone well enough to be friends with them you know them well enough to know if ye'd work as lovers or not. I love the smell of Napalm in the morning, smells like v... wait, that's not me. I love those little flowers that look like little red ballet dancers and you can pull the stalk off them and drink the nectar... mmmmmm... Vegemite on toast, yes. I have the "Thomas the Tank Engine" theme tune stuck in my head. I think less of people who only claim to be here for the tests. I am most decidedly here for shits and giggles. I notice things that other people don't but sometimes miss things everyone else thinks are obvious. I can be overly literal, so I will not get your hint. My sister told me she was pregnant so I would soon be an Auntie or an Uncle, I paused for a moment and said, I can only be an uncle hun... she was joking, I didn't get it. She thinks that's the most amusing thing ever. I have always wondered how it would be possible not to have my cake and eat it. I like Scuba diving though I haven't done any in Ireland yet. Sometimes I complain about things I can't change then immediately regret complaining about them. I am adaptable, I am not an idealist. I think it was Terry Pratchett who said: "It doesn't matter where you stand on the line between good and evil, only what direction you face." I bake great cookies, I bake ok cake, I bake pizza slightly too often. I might be developing a bit of an obsession with baking...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Beginning again. Beginning better. Realising that's not how it works. Beginning again.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making tea: Pot, warmed; water, just boiled; leaves; time.
Explaining things, usually.
Riding motorbikes.
Making the here and now work.
I make pizza dough. Very good pizza dough.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I need a haircut. Although, recently I've started seeing a professional about that particular issue and the results are really growing on me. (Yes, I went there).
I'm probably smiling (except in photographs, I can't get the hang of that).
They have most likely seen me before I see them, I don't know why that happens.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Popular Science books, mostly Biology though Physics and Chemistry get a look in too. I would probably like other branches of the sciences if I could find the time to read more. I also like a bit of Sci Fi. There may be a pattern here...

Movies... Everything. No really, not in the "I can't decide what I like so I'll have no preference" kind of way, I get great pleasure from all kinds of movies. I love Pedro Almodóvar. I love the film Top Gun. The sublime to the ridiculous.

Music... I used to listen to a lot of music but I don't get a lot of time to do that now. And I like silence. So, music that sounds good in the car.

Food... Food food. Italian? Pasta things, pizza from scratch. I have a friend who is trying to get me to learn to make rizotto, I am tempted. I kick ass at poached eggs.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Universe.

I can have 5 more? Wow!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
42; the nature of relationships; how do minds work; if I was to become a vegetarian where would I draw the line; why do people believe in spite of evidence; the vastness of the universe and how it pertains to the littleness of my meness. And also, motorbikes, planes, trains.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I have no typical Friday nights. I'm usually up for anything. Which sounds very exciting... but it's not really. Sorry to disappoint anyone who was hoping for a box of Milk Tray.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
While searching for a profile name which included the word sultry noticed that every woman who uses the word sultry in her profile matches me over 90%. Interesting.

Turns out I was spelling the profile name wrong, but still interesting hey?

You have a soft spot for E. Edward Grey. Or you're a lot like Amy Gardner, who I am aware is a fictional character but a chap can dream...

Also if you like snow. Snow is awesome. I like snow.

You read all this and it made you think of something to say. Or, you didn't read all this and you still thought of something to say. Or you read all this and can't think of anything to say (in this last case just try not to be creepy and we're good). I have found that some of the most interesting conversations start with someone picking something from my vast rambling profile that made them think and blurting it out.

You have your own eyebrows.

If we like each other. I tend to only message people who have clicked the little likey star thing, I hope it cuts down on the avalanche of messages people can sometimes get.
