I am fun loving, outgoing, and tree climbing.
My Self-Summary
I look for various things, but I believe a "complete package" is
what makes for true love, and a relationship that will last. Looks
are important, but they are only skin deep, and they fade. True
beauty comes from the inside as well, and is what makes a person so
much more beautiful. If you base everything on sex, it's just not
going to last.
I want someone I can sit on the couch with,
cuddling and talking all night, able to
sit and not talk all night as well. Someone who understands that it
takes two people and a lot of hard work to make a relationship.
Someone who loves
coffee, walks in the rain,
laughing at bar karaoke,
watching
movies,
loves
dogs and the
fact I was one in a previous life (according to my friend Tim),
someone who understands that I wake up at 3am when my pager goes
of, when it's 10 degrees and snowing, and go stand in the middle of
the road. Is that really that much to ask for?
What I’m doing with my life
Looking for new
friends, working as an
EMT, and being happy. I have had an
excellent paying job, where I made good money, had excellent
benefits and what not. The problem was, in the seven years I was
there, it was slowly sucking the life out of me. I wasn't myself
anymore, and I didn't like it. Finally one day I decided to put in
my notice, and go back to school to do something I will truly
enjoy. I'm making about half the money I used to, but my happiness
with my life has increased 1000%, so it's worth the trade off!
I’m really good at
Anything having to do with technology or logic. I'm able to catch
on to things very easily, especially logical things. It tends to be
a good thing, as I can usually look up directions for something,
the do it, whether it's
cooking, working on my car, or laying a
hardwood floor.
I'm also very good at climbing trees, or things in general. I'm
like a spider-monkey!
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm 6'4"...otherwise I don't usually go about asking people the
first thing they notice about me. That seems a little narcissistic
to me.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Carl Hiaasen for books. I
recently bought an Amazon Kindle 2 and I'm getting back into
reading, I forgot how much I loved it.
Fifth Element, Dark City, The Prestige, Clue, Seven, Children of
Men, and many other movies
Musically I'm a fan of Rock/Alternative/Punk, however you'll find
me listening to just about anything, minus Rap/R&B or new
country, such as:
Bad Religion, Metallica, Thursday, Josh Groban, James Taylor,
Alabama, Caroline's Spine, Dave Matthews, Dispatch, Ben Folds,
Billy Joel, Cake, CCR, Genesis, John Denver The Juliana Theory, The
Cooper Temple Clause, Lifehouse, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes,
R.E.M., System of a Down, They Might Be Giants, Tool, Toad the Wet
Sprocket, Tori Amos, Tracey Chapman, Violent Femmes, VAST...to name
a few.
I'm recently vegetarian, so food varies...but I love to cook, and
I'm pretty good at it, at least I think so.
The six things I could never do without
My friends, my happiness...you know, that's basically it.
Everything else is just collateral. I'm a big believer in personal
happiness, and as long as I have it, the rest of the things in my
life seem just fine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
where the midget that steals my underwear hides in my house...
On a typical Friday night I am
working, hanging with friends, maybe at a movie, or just chilling
on the couch. Not a bar fly, not a "partier". I would rather be out
on a walk, bike or hike than out seeing the same people at a bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Hmmm...I cry at sad movies? All good things come with time...if I
spend enough time with you, there won't really be any private
things.
You should message me if
You are looking for a good friend. I don't bite, I'm not an ass
(unless I need to be), and no one is so rich as to throw away a
friend!
