My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I know what magic feels like. And I know that it isn't created out of hand. It takes just a couple of fingers to count the number of people that I have loved in my life. And they are the ones that are important to me regardless of what place they hold in my life right now.

And I know I can't try and force that. By most standards I tend to move pretty slowly, but it's really all about the connection for me. That may be something that starts as a friendship or a simple attraction, but in the end I'm looking for substance.

If reading this makes you feel slightly uncomfortable, know that it does me as well. I've tried the "lets have sex and see if we're compatible" thing and it always leaves me feeling like I've gone to a place of emotional intimacy that was premature. The words premature and sex just never seem to go together well.....
Sex for me is an emotional act. It takes some investment....and time. I feel like I'm in the minority, but after trial and lots of errors, that's, well let's just say that's how I roll....

Getting a cat out of a tree or helping a little old lady across the street is sexy to me......of course if you're doing it as a hairy chested man wearing a harness, so much the better. Hey, it could happen....
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've had nine lives already. Working on the tenth.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm the MacGyver of the kitchen. I have a gift for taking whatever is in the fridge/cupboards and making something edible out of it. As far as favorite foods I'm an adventurist -as long as it's fresh and well prepared I'll probably like it.

Music....I'm all over the place. If someone stole my Ipod they would think someone with multiple personalities owned it. Latin pop music is the music of choice at the moment. I can't understand a word but it all sounds so passionate.

I don't have cable so I just tend to watch Hulu when I'm in the mood. Vampire Diaries is a guilty pleasure.

Fav movie....it always comes back to The Princess Bride.

Favorite books. Hmmm.... Reading The Power of Habit, Christopher Isherwood Lost Years, oh and the cookbook simply called Meat by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Random, yes. Anything by E.M. Forster. Poetry by Paul Monette. A Quaker Book of Wisdom. Things by Anne Lamotte - I give Operating Instructions to every pregnant woman I know. Dream Boy by Jim Grimsley is such a tender heartbreaking love story. Art books, design books, random books I find for free, books that make me think about something that I never thought I'd have an interest in, pop up books are incredible, books that feel good in my hands.
