My self-summary
Since I don't have any roses to stop and smell, I like to experience instead: the energy of summer days, biking (many miles), sleeping with windows open, thunderstorms, great concerts and classic rock and roll, quick wit and laughter in everyday situations, sunsets, animals, a "day-off-work blizzard," seeing a dophin at sea, walking in the rain, anything in nature (though I've never tried a tornado), waking up and stretching in bed with someone I love.

In my days and relationships, I prefer to keep it simple but can do the serious stuff whenever needed. My life's experience tell me emotional intimacy is about the best of all human experiences, had most often in authentic conversations. I'm a very good conversationalist, with the right partner.

I have a large family I enjoy living nearby and many good friends and have figured myself out so you won't have to :)

I'm physically fit, enjoy exercise, being aware, being present and appreciating the mysteries and diversities in all that exists.

I don't have kids but it's alright if you do.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm play a doctor in my private practice, with a particularly compassionate bedside manner. I cycle 120 miles/week, enjoy connecting often with friends, meditation, yoga. I work only 35 hours a week so I can work to live, not live to work. I enjoy summer concerts (Paul Simon, Mellencamp, BNL, Classic Rock bands mostly) and the witty humor of people like Steven Wright ("I sprayed Spot remover on my dog - and now he's gone":) and Demetri Martin ("You can say you like kids, but that's like saying you like people, for a little while" :)) Packers and Brewer's games are casually fun. In my past life, I taught grad school at UWM, played a lot of tennis and racquetball and ate Froot Loops; I've moved on to adult cereals.

Humilty. Now, I can't say any more, can I?

My mind (if I lose my mind, I still want the cookies)
On a typical Friday night I am
biking before finding a casual, easy restaurant without too much noise, but some noise is good. I'm more likely to go out with friends on Saturday night to a nicer bar, restaurant.
