books: I'm a really avid reader and a concept like favorite doesn't really feel that apt, as I tend to be most moved by what I've been reading (or watching) most recently. (maybe that's a character flaw?) I'm a real lover of philosophy that's not British (though really only things written before the 20th century), find hegel pretty charming.

I'm a great believer in the films of antonioni and kurosawa.
