I've lived in the city for over 5 years now, and in the words of Mindy Kaling, "I love New York and it likes me okay". Before I decided to call New York home, I worked with Doctors Without Borders for about a year after nursing school. I spent 9 months in Haiti and 3 months in Ethiopia- my time there was nothing short of ah-mazing. That, coupled with a year in Europe, and globe trotting in between, made me a firm believer in investing money in experiences, so with that said- destinations left on the bucket list include: Cambodia, Laos, Africa, Greece, and the Maldives. Vietnam is next up in February :)
I'm blessed with some of the best friends a gal can have, and the most awesome family...seriously, they're all the bees knees. Lucky enough to love my job, so I really can't complain- life is pretty great. BUT it'd be even better to have someone to enjoy day to day life with. I'm always up for trying new restaurants, meandering around this great city, partaking in some day drinking, live music, doing anything outdoors, and lazy beach days. Let's have fun and take it from there :)
