Hi! I'm a jack of all trades with no verifiable criminal record and
lots of really amazing -though lonely- hobbies.
First of all, let's get something clear: I'm not a clubbing
guy.
Yes, it might be harsh to start like this, but this is probably the
only thing about myself that gets misunderstood, or the main thing
that "needs" to be changed for me to have "social
interaction".
No, not really a people's person. Dogs... dogs I do relate
to.
Also, as my skinny says right besides this, I'm looking for a long
and meaningful relationship. Sure, we can be friends. I don't hold
anything against your particular way of going through life.
It's just that, when facing the possibility of a one night stand or
something short, I've felt like I was using and being used.
Not my cup of tea, sorry.
That being said, I am human, I do have a libido and it's not going
away any time soon. For me, long relationships have a sexual
component that stands there like an elephant in... well, in my
apartment :p
I'm not into smoking or taking drugs, I'm damaging myself enough
with my lousy cooking and the chinese take-out food.
Then again, I'm not against people who want to kill themselves
faster than the average, as long as they aren't lying to
themselves. Drinking, I do it monthly at best. Not a big fan.
Actually, I'm not really against anything nor anyone, people should
be able to do whatever they want as long as they don't mess with
anyone else. I believe that moral is relative and ethics are
personal.
My main hobby is reading, my english is self learned (Like almost
everything else) and the carpet does match the curtains.
Other hobbies include
poking stuff with a
shinai,
scuba diving (Getting expensive,
sadly. I'm a certified rescue diver BTW), doing
kayak (Not that I have the room for
one in my apartment right now xD),
sailing (Not anymore, though I do keep
my certifications). Yeah, I like my aquatic sports ^^
I love (LOVE) british comedy from the 70's and 80's (A Bit of Fry
and Laurie, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf, etc). I can't
get enough of them.
Regarding religion, or any dogmatic belief for that matter
(Including atheism), I strive to achieve a state of tolerance, one
that I haven't been able to reach just yet. I don't want to, but
I'm a little condescending with/repulsed by people that think they
have THE truth.
Also, I should point out that I suck at chitchat and, while I can
follow up into almost any topic that you find interesting, my
initiative is pretty much sub par. It's not that I don't enjoy a
good conversation or debate, mind you. It's just that there's
nothing casual about the topics I do find amusing. :P
So... If you are ok with me being a complete, utter proud misfit,
then by all means do contact me.
(Disclaimer: While I'm not really 1/4 malkavian, I do have several
garden gnomes hanging from my genealogical tree)
I make videogames for a living and take baths regularly (Bubble
baths every other day, though) in my soap box sized apartment in
Palermo.
When I find myself an entire weekend inside, I add paragraphs to
this profile xD
I'm currently reading random books, listening to random music and
eating stuff that I find on the streets, effectively submerging
myself into this beautiful mess that is your species.
being modest.
...
... Ok :p
Writing, listening, programming, playing Rock Band, swimming,
surviving on peanuts and fruit preserves, understanding people,
mediating, evading opportunities of getting laid, creating chaos
out of my bedclothes, being someone else.
My laughter.
My goddamned stentorian, maniac and contagious laughter.
My "spongebob squarepants attitude" towards life.
(I get that a lot, what can I say?)
The fact that I work at the Ministry of Silly Walks.
Game making. Sex. Unpaid bills.
In that order.
Also, trying to answer the question "Does a dog have the
Buddha-nature?" without all that mooing.
Travelling from Bs As to Mar del Plata, to watch over my copious
fertile lands and imaginary fish factories. And my friends and
family, of course.
When there's no money you'll find me at home, watching TV and
eating pizza.
Between you and me, I LOVE to stay at home and I HATE pubs and
discos :P
Also, recently a ray of sunshine struck me full in the face and I
spend all my fridays waiting for her to come over the next day =)
I've never played Winning Eleven. ö
The only reason why I'm not "On the road" (Yeah, Kerouac rules) is
that I have an unhealthy relationship with all things electronic.
You like pineapples on your pizza, or if you don't.
(Why don't you like them? ._.)
You have some message for me from the distant future.
There's a great idea for a game running amok your brain and you
either don't have the skills or you could use a handsome
C/C++/Java/Python/Lua/Perl/Ruby programmer.
You read this all and you believe that there's a medal with your
name on it. (It can be arranged)
