My self-summary
Intellectual and slightly wacky fellow here. I'm always trying to find what little bit I can do to make the world, in the big picture, a better place.
What I’m doing with my life
Just finished a doctorate in theology. Now, I'm on the job market, and enjoying some down time. Big transitional period - which is another way of saying, I have no clue where my life is headed at this point.

I might be a nerd, but I appreciate more kinds of smarts than book smarts in other people, and it's more important to be nice, anyway. In any case, conversation is key.

I mostly like to hang out with my friends, read, listen to music, watch DVDs, shop for CDs and books, swim, and take solitary walks. Every now and then, it's fun to go out dancing.
I’m really good at
writing - it's challenging and sometimes frustrating, but getting a good argument carefully crafted with some nice images along the way is the most rewarding thing I've done. I mostly write academic stuff, but also do some blogging.

The six things I could never do without
Humor.
Books.
Music.
Conversation.
Trees.
Beautiful men walking around town.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Injustice, the futility of existence, and finding a way to maintain a sense of gratitude and purpose despite it all.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I dig jocks, yea even meatheads.
