I'm constantly looking for the humor in life, whether it's shitty puns, dark humor, or a witty comment, I always try and make myself and others laugh. I've found that I'm the easier of the two audiences.

I'm somewhat of a dichotomy. I can be quiet and reserved when first meeting people, but I don't shut up when I'm with familiar company. I have lots of things to say, but I like to listen first.

I'm fascinated with life, I like learning about people and things and places. I'm one of those weird people with too many random facts filling my head. Unsurprisingly, I love trivia and games and I might be just a little bit competitive, so watch out!

I just completed moving from my hometown of Vancouver, WA to Huntsville, AL for a new job. Needless to say, it's a big change, but I'm excited about it. Since I'm totally new to the area, I'd love to find someone to show me around the city.

I volunteered weekly at the local Humane Society to work with dogs. With the move down to Huntsville, I'm hoping to continue volunteering at the local shelter here. There's not much more fulfilling in life than finding a dog a home. Plus, it lets me play with tons of dogs without actually having to do all the hard work of owning one. That said, I'm hoping to have my own soon.

I'm also growing a bitchin' mullet.¹

Probably that I'm quiet. When I first meet people I tend to be pretty reserved until I know them better. After I get to know you, I'll talk your ear off. When I open up, I think people notice that I can be pretty funny and clever. Either that, or I'm really bad at recognizing people being patronizing.

Being boring at home most likely unless friends are free that night. I'm looking to change that by finding some more activities. I'd really like to get back into rock climbing, so if you're into climbing, I'd love to have someone who knows the ropes... Get it? Ropes. Sorry.

I recently had my DNA analyzed and I'm in the 89th percentile for percentage of Neanderthal DNA. At least I'm a little bit less self-conscious about that club I carry around.
