My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello everyone and welcome to my profile.

Instead of a lengthy and likely an inaccurate summarization, there is a listing of few factoids about my person:

I am...
- originally from Czech Republic
- borderline between INTJ and INTP (tests suggest INTJ, observations suggest INTP)
- a big fan of martial arts, fencing and archery (both eastern and western)
- very often over-thinking things
- an information sponge

and I...
- love reading {books, articles, manga/manhwa, all of it}
- love languages (difficult to elaborate, but feel free to ask)
- like traveling (although I have yet to venture outside of Europe)
- prefer English to my native tongue
- have a life long interest in mythology/legends/fantasy

...and hopefully a whole lot more. =)

My favourite quote:
"To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour."
~William Blake~
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have recently moved to Utrecht and started my next study step at the Utrecht University and, omitting the usual administrative nightmares that come with the new arrivals, I am loving the whole package! *_*

I'm also currently self-studying 1-2 (depends on my mood) languages, it is sort of a hobby of mine.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening to people, keeping secrets... I also have astonishing memory when it comes to fairly useless things such as movie plots and quotes... ^^

I'm really bad at
- Yelling and raising my voice in general, though it never seems to be the case when I am presenting...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not quite sure, but there are two things that get pointed out more often than any other: me being mysterious (few even used the word "enigmatic") and my politeness, you know, "please" and "thank you" all over the place. =)

Oh and as far as internet presence goes, it is probably that I use "..." all the time... =P
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I read a lot, but when it comes to actual books, my favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams and Robert Zelazny (Fantasy most of it, I know)... However, my main reading focus is on Manga/Manhwa/Korean Webtoons... at least 1 chapter every day! =)

Movies - That would be a very long list so I'll just say that I like both acted and animated (generally prefer acted, though);

Series - White Collar, Big Bang Theory, Boston Legal, Twin Peaks, Life, Taken, The Listener, The Blacklist, Elementary, Sherlock, Suits, Dracula (looks promising)... and almost anything with good CGI and/or matching my sense of humor. ^^

Anime - I used to watch loads of Anime, but these days I follow only Mahouka. =)

Music - Some of the most recent favorites on my playlist are: Dire Straits, Jon Schmidt, The Piano Guys, Phil Collins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and some soundtracks from various anime. So I guess mostly older-ish things, still... if I like a song, I couldn't care less about the genre; ^^

Games - Indeed, I admit to playing games though not very often. My games of choice used to be mostly strategies, but these days I seem to prefer games where I can explore the environment in a more personal manner, possibly with action, but definitely with either magic, 'magic' (= psychic powers, force, and so forth) or various implementations of stealth... Assassins Creed Unity and Watch_Dogs look like my kind of game. =P

Food - I am quite fond of Italian, Japanese, and the recipes used in my family. I also like to cook myself but there is still much to learn. =)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm very adaptable... but okay, I'll list a few (non-ordered):

* Nature (both fauna and flora: I love animals, forests, waterfalls, rain, storm, lightning, stars, fog, gentle breeze, mountains... I guess pretty much all of it and more)
* Fantasy/Imagination (cannot deny that my mind, and general inside of my head, is a rather peculiar place, but it is my peculiar place and I like it)
* Physical Activities (be it archery, martial arts, camping, or even some manual work)
* Laptop with Internet (we live in the Information/Digital Age... not to mention my field is bound to those, should either of those factors change, this point might too)
* Love
* That little mysterious something
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm thinking about way too many things to list any. It could be quite anything, from scientific thoughts to fantasy musing...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing what I could on any other night... I guess...

I am quite comfortable on my own, but even when it comes to mingling, I prefer smaller gatherings and have general aversion to louder parties...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
What I consider private, even the tiniest bit, is not something I would put up for all to see... That said, I suppose anything could be unravelled through a conversation. =)
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Now then, whether you are from afar or just a few blocks away (this option has mildly higher chances of meeting up), as long as you are interested in getting to know me, hit me up! =)

PS: If I don't reply or stop replying mid-conversation, it doesn't necessarily mean it was intentional. It has happened before that a new message arrived without any notification nor any visible indication that there is a new message in the thread. If you want to make sure the conversation does not get cut off in that fashion, ask me for an email address or something of the sort.
