My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Music infuses my life. I'm constantly going to shows, both for work and for fun. I can play guitar but I'm not a musician. I always have music playing when I'm working.

I am active and I usually go out a few nights a week for work and/or fun. I do enjoy my time at home as well. I'm a classic introvert in that I like being social but I recharge by myself.

My friends say if I strapped a go pro to my head and tried to fix household objects it would make a great reality show. Said show would mostly consist of me hurting myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm lucky enough to spend my life working with amazing creative people. I have my own company that does artist management and entertainment law. I'm one of the few people who gets to do what they love for a living.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Absorbing random information. I'm infinitely curious and love learning new things, so consequently I have a brain full of strange facts.

Oh, and I'm a great gift giver.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my tattoos. I get a lot of compliments on my eyes, too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite book of all time is It by Stephen King. Favorite poem is Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Coleridge. I also really like the Notes from the Underground by Dostoyevsky. I just finished House Of Leaves and I couldn't be more impressed with it. The uncomfortable and unsettling feeling reading it is the closest I've come to being a little kid reading Stephen King under the sheets late at night. Such a masterpiece.

Favorite movie would probably be Almost Famous. I've always liked it but my job has made it much more poignant and personal as I've grown older. I also love American Beauty. I watch it every couple of months, though I couldn't tell you why. I think it makes me feel good about my life, in a strange way. After American Beauty, it would probably be Supertroopers. Or Bad Santa. Or Beavis and Butthead Do America. Something intelligent like that.

As I get older, my musical tastes have tended to expand. Growing up I only listened to 60s stuff like the Beatles, the Doors, etc. I got in to punk in high school and still love NOFX, Green Day, and Propaghandi. I now listen to everything from punk to rap to Adele. I have a serious soft spot for 90's alternative rock. If you're the type of person who gets goosebumps when they listen to a great song then we'll get along just fine. Right now I can't stop listening to The Menzingers. Seriously. If you don't enjoy this song and find this video amusing then I can't help you:

I love food, so picking a favorite is really tough. I would have to go with sushi. Or indian. Or mexican. Or maybe chinese. One of those. I love people who are adventurous eaters.

I just realized I didn't mention tv in here. I am so in love with Dave Grohl's Sonic Highways. It feels like it's a show that is made just for me.

I also love Howard Stern and podcasts. I regularly listen to Adam Carolla, Nerdist, Aisha Tyler and more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dog would have to be first, I can't imagine life without him. My computer would probably be second, since that also serves as my tv and my music machine. My car is pretty important. My tattoos because, well, they aren't going anywhere. I would have to say my contact lenses and glasses as the last two. It's hard to do much when you can't see.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. My brain really doesn't shut up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to decide if I want to stay in or go out. Listening to songs on youtube that I'm too embarrassed to pay for and put on my ipod (I'm currently listening to Jack and Diane.) Hoping my dog is just standing by the door and doesn't actually have to go for a walk. Talking to said dog more than is probably healthy.

Lately I've been in a routine of seeing a movie at the Arclight and then walking over to Loaded to hang out with my mohawked and tattooed friends. I can pass for a lawyer on the outside but inside I'm still a high school punk.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I listen to way more Journey than someone in the music business should.

I really like smart and ambitious women. It's an added bonus if that woman is entrepreneurial as well. I find all those qualities incredibly attractive.

I've also realized that I really need a woman who will do what she says she's going to do and keeps her word. It seems common for people in LA to act interested out of kindness when they really aren't. If I like someone, I'm going to tell them that. If I'm not I'll tell them that as well. If I say I'm going to do something with you on a certain day, I'll do that. I'd love to meet someone who is the same way.

You want to check out a show, especially if it's at the Troubadour.

You are a dog person and want to have a doggy playdate.
