My self-summary
I really like smart and ambitious women. It's an added bonus if said women is entrepreneurial as well. I find all those qualities incredibly attractive.

Music infuses my life. I know that they say opposites attract but I can't imagine dating someone who wasn't passionate about music. You don't need to be a musician, I'm not, but I think I need someone who shares my deep and abiding love for music.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm lucky enough to spend my life working with amazing creative people. I have my own company that does artist management and entertainment law. I'm one of the few people who gets to do what they love for a living.
I’m really good at
Absorbing random information. I'm infinitely curious and love learning new things, so consequently I have a brain full of strange facts. For example, when dogs line themselves up to poop they do so along North-South magnetic lines.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my tattoos. I get a lot of compliments on my eyes, too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite book of all time is It by Stephen King. Favorite poem is Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Coleridge. I also really like the Notes from the Underground by Dostoyevsky.

Favorite movie would probably be Almost Famous. I've always liked it but my job has made it much more poignant and personal as I've grown older. I also love American Beauty. I watch it every couple of months, though I couldn't tell you why. I think it makes me feel good about my life, in a strange way. After American Beauty, it would probably be Supertroopers. Or Bad Santa. Or Beavis and Butthead Do America. Something intelligent like that.

As for music, my loves tend to fall within either punk, hardcore, emo, pop punk, and some rap. Favorite bands would be Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Guns and Roses, Jedi Mind Tricks, and so on. I have a serious soft spot for 90's alternative rock. If you're the type of person who gets goosebumps when they listen to a great song then we'll get along just fine. Random fact: that goosebump feeling is called frisson.

I love food, so picking a favorite is really tough. I would have to go with sushi. Or indian. Or mexican. Or maybe chinese. One of those. I love people who are adventurous eaters.

I just realized I didn't mention tv in here. Right now I'm really into Archer, Rick and Morty, Louis, Hannibal, House of Cards and more. Breaking Bad was amazing. I stockpile tv shows so I have something to watch during the summer. Right now it will probably be Arrow and maybe Orphan Black.

I also love Howard Stern and podcasts. I regularly listen to Adam Carolla, Nerdist, Aisha Tyler and more.
The six things I could never do without
My dog would have to be first, I can't imagine life without him. My computer would probably be second, since that also serves as my tv and my music machine. My car is pretty important. My tattoos because, well, they aren't going anywhere. I would have to say my contact lenses and glasses as the last two. It's hard to do much when you can't see.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. My brain really doesn't shut up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to decide if I want to stay in or go out. Listening to songs on youtube that I'm too embarrassed to pay for and put on my ipod (I'm currently listening to Jack and Diane.) Hoping my dog is just standing by the door and doesn't actually have to go for a walk. Talking to said dog more than is probably healthy.

Lately I've been in a routine of seeing a movie at the Arclight and then walking over to Loaded to hang out with my mohawked and tattooed friends. I can pass for a lawyer on the outside but inside I'm still a high school punk.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I listen to way more Journey than someone in the music business should.
