TV wise, I'm a Whovian for the regenerated series (I've seen a few of the old, but haven't had a chance to get through them all, Matt Smith is my doctor!) I also love Supernatural, Orphan Black, Dexter, Grey's Anatomy, Frasier, Gilmore Girls, BtVS, United States of Tara, Modern Family, AtLA, BSG...and probably a few more besides. Oh and Game of Thrones! Amazing series.
Games - for some reason I've always enjoyed watching other people play games. Growing up with two brothers, that happened a lot. Whilst I got in my fair share of the wonderful Zelda and Sonic, a lot of Pokemon and Toejam and Earl, I really prefer to provide witty commentary to gameplay! Recently I've loved The Last of Us and I'm about to start watching a Bioshock: Infinite Let's Play.
Musical Theatre owns my heart. My favourites are Les Miserables, Love Never Dies (controversial!) and Curtains although it's rare that I'll not like a musical. (I've never been able to get into Rent!) I think it's because I love music, but find it very hard to connect with songs unless I have some characters to be sympathetic to. So musical stories make me happy. If you're a die-hard music fan and grew up thinking that some bands were just awesome and 'got you', I'm probably going to frustrate you. Unless you fell in love with the melody. I get that.
So yes, music - anything Broadway/West End/musicals, anything magical sounding - from Disney to the soundtrack to How To Train Your Dragon to the music of Philip Glass.
