and together; and give/receive love unconditionally.

I derive great pleasure from organic gardening, and I'm learning to
can (as in put-up food). I've an interest in beekeeping and
chickens. I view food as medicine for both body and soul, though
take delight in preparing food that tastes yummy v. medicinal. Pure
food is wise to be a point of focus for community building; both
integral to living well. I practice yoga (down-levelled to
restorative in recovery from injury), meditate and love bucolic
country walks to forage medicinal + edible herbs, swimming +
canoeing in fresh water, gardening, maple syruping, snowshoeing,
art / indie films, and hunkering down with a good book, a fine man,
and my wee rescue puppies.
Having traded in the city life to become a country mouse -- I enjoy
jaunts to the city for theater, ballet, opera, art exhibitions and
ethnic food; yet prefer nature as my surround.
I am completely feminine and enjoy a manly man. Of a gentle manner
and compassionate nature, I seek the same in a partner.
Most compatible would be a man who will never lose that gleam in
his eye that bespeaks a joie de vivre. He's comfortable engaging in

Recently launched a Resumé Writing and Job Search Consulting
EcoFemme bespeaks my lifestyle. Vandana Shiva my heroine in that
department, along with Rachel Carson (past) and Professors Bill
McKibbon + Tony Ingraffea (present).
"Fracktivism" (as in working to protect our water and air against
the ravages of hydrofracking) has occupied copious amounts of my
time, energy and resources these last several years in New York
'Landed' in an olde farmhouse in Maine during the winter's worst
ice storm; now happily emerging to the joys of spring and the
activities of summer.
Climate Change events have put to good use some previous experience
toward fundraising endeavors to help a neighboring community
recover from Hurricane Irene in 2011, then to organizing a
Hurricane Sandy Relief initiative for Staten Island in 2012. Hoping
its a good long while before Im close to a local episode again, and
hoping for all those experiencing it daily.
