First off, I don't like pina coladas or getting lost in the rain. I have mismatched thumbs. My desk at work is a total disaster, but my life is very much together. My work world (the art world) tends toward the glamorous, successful and sometimes ridiculous crowd, but my friends and family are more of the down-to-earth, intellectual type.
I’ve lived in a lot of different places and done a lot of traveling but I consider NYC home.

I'm happy with my life, with all that I've accomplished and for all that is to come.
I like my independence and time alone but would like to share myself with someone who complements rather than completes me.

I want: Someone who is smarter than I am. Someone who knows how to keep going when life gets rocky. Someone who lives a full and interesting life not a small and quiet one. Someone who can make me laugh. Someone who knows what it means to be a partner. But we don't always get what we want, so if you have some but not all of these qualities, I'm happy to meet and see where it leads.
