My Self-Summary
So I'm trying to rewrite this entry here. I want to say some
things. But I'm not sure how to. I want to convey that I'm a strong
person but that doesn't mean that I'm not sensitive to certain
things/people/ideas. I don't feel like my life would be incomplete
without a lover, but it would be nice to not be alone some days. I
tend towards independence and relationships that aren't too clingy,
but of course I still show affection. I'm a mild romantic I guess.
I don't demand grand shows/gestures of love though and I don't make
a huge deal out of valentine's day. I love sci fi TV and movies and
will use them to relate to my own life (this is like the time
Captain Picard did thus and such...). I love a person who can make
me laugh- especially if I'm sad.
That's all I got at the moment, but I know there will be more. I pretty much have no shame, so if you ask a question I'll probably answer it!

What I’m doing with my life
I'm just wrapping up a year or so of getting my ass kicked by the
crappy ass economy. I'm starting a new job that involves something
close to my heart: being nice to people. I'll be helping some
psychologically disabled veterans keep the structure in their
lives- making sure they take their meds and do their laundry and
shower and stuff. I also get to cook for them, which is extremely
exciting for me!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am a huge proponent of Fat Acceptance. I am fat and I am
ok with that. It doesn't make me a bad person and it doesn't
indicate some kind of character flaw. It doesn't mean that I'm weak
or stupid or lazy. It doesn't even mean that I'm costing your
country more money in health care. If you've got a problem with my
girth, do some research before insult. You will never hear me
apologize for my big ass.
