Whilst it is true that no amount of adjectives can describe who a
person is, I will make a vague attempt to paint an outline. Writing
is my passion, when I have the time. I am currently studying
history and live in Cheltenham with my 5 year old son, whom I
adore, along with our maine coon cat. I like nature, visiting
quaint tea rooms, art galleries and museums and anything with a
ring of enchantment about it. I suppose I am a romanticist at heart
along the non wishy-washy Caspar David Friedrich lines. This
probably sounds pretentious, but I am in fact very friendly and
down to earth, but quite a contradiction in that my head is often
in the clouds, or a bit caught up in my imagination. I have a
playful, silly, and naughty side too which seems to become more
exacerbated as I grow older. Maybe it is simply that we lose our
inhibitions a bit with age and (hopefully) wisdom.
Musically speaking, my taste is quite diverse. Bach, Schubert, Chopin and Kate Bush are long-standing favourites of mine. Of late, I have been discovering rockabilly music, listening to more 60's music, psychedelic and otherwise, and really reliving the 20th century, right across the decades. After all, there is really nothing like playing Glenn Miller whilst making tea the good old fashioned way!
Ideally it would be wonderful to meet someone special. My soulmate, the elusive pimpernel, must be somewhere 'out there'. I believe he is brooding, passionate and maybe even a bit quirky, dominant in the bedroom yet in touch with his feminine side. Ultimately it is the connection which matters most though. I am however open to friendship and naughtiness and fine conversation too.
