My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Left-handed-warm-hearted-animal-loving-creative-sort of vintage woman here simply seeking.

I live in Cheltenham with my 7 year old son, whom I adore, along with our wilful maine coon cat.

Musically speaking I have quite varied taste. My super hero is Bob Dylan, and I like a bit of raunchy rockabilly music (think werewolf by the frantics or madness by the rhythm rockers). I like 60's surf music too, and am still expanding my late 60s musical knowledge. Very drawn to psychedelia and surrealism, along with all the other vintage. I'm quite a hippy at heart, and was really born too late. Also enjoy a bit of Noel Coward, Glenn Miller, Carry on films, Bach, William Blake, poetry, Sinatra, vintage teacups, esoteric books, Bobby Vee, 60s kitsch lounge music, book fairs, record fairs, dancing Isadora Duncan style, yoga, nature, writing (my absolute purpose, vocationally speaking), literature, old films, The Prisoner, upcycling furniture, Thunderbirds, Atom Heart Mother, tea, Tom Baker as Dr Who, vintage clothing, Edgar Allen Poe, baking, oo er this list is getting rather long.

Ideally it would be wonderful to meet someone special. My soulmate, the elusive pimpernel, must be somewhere 'out there'. I believe he is brooding, passionate and he's very likely to be quirky, dominant in the bedroom yet in touch with his feminine side. Ultimately it is the connection which matters most though.

P.S my username is a mistake - I typed Ophelia1847 too fast, alas it is too late to alter it!

I'm going to quote a passage from my birth chart as it is very true of me; she is shy, delicate but proud, bold and lively. Has strong passions and likes extravagant love affairs.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Looking after my little boy and pussy cat, studying, writing, meeting new people, seeking the open door (the really nice art deco one with the words 'That's it!' engraved upon it).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

I like to read 19th century classics, books about history, ancient mysteries, art and spirituality. My favourite authors include William Blake, Dickens, the Brontes, Graham Hancock and David Wilcock.

I don't really watch televison, but my favourite show of all time is Patrick Mcgoohan's (the most best version by far) The Prisoner. So rich with symbolism, plus Mcgoohan's voice melts me!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What is really going on in the world, and beyond it - I would dearly love to know more about the latter
The nature of existence
Love, etc
Derren Nesbitt
The next book I wish to write
Nick Rhodes, I just love a man in make up
